Katara sat in a house that she didn't want to be in. Aang was late getting home as usual. Katara finally had her decision made she would break up with him tonight. Soon Aang walked in the door
"We have to talk." Said Katara
"What about now?" stated Aang looking bored
"I'm leaving you but we'll be best friend till the day I die." Katara stated as she walked out of their home and his life forever.
Seven Months Later
Katara finally called her best friend for the first time, but not for a reason that Aang would have liked. He picked up the phone to find out she was in love.
Third of June she said goodbye
I watched her walk into the night
The hardest thing I ever did was let her go
We swore as friends we stay in touch

When that phone call comes to tell you

She sat telling him about her perfect guy. She smiles and laughs when Zuko walks up behind her to wrap his arms around her while she is on the phone. Aang says he has to go, but all he is thinking is why can't I be him.

Aang told Sokka, Toph and Suki he just wanted Katara to be happy, but they all knew him way to well to not know he was lying. Katara told Aang she and her new boy friend would be in town, and that they wanted to meet him. He was sure he could not bare to see her with him so he left for the day when he got back he found a not on his door.
