Blaises' side in the Great Battle

I had never really choosen a side before the War. In all truth, I still haven't. So, when I was informed that The Great Battle had started, I had a few options to choose from. I could help Harry/Dumbledore, help You-Kno... Voldemort, or run like a pansy.

Now, just because I was a Slytherin doesn't mean I was going to help Voldemort. I never really cared about blood purity, so I never got along with the others in my house. Well, except for Draco, and that's because we've been friends since we were in diapers.

Draco had never understood why I didn't care for the blood purity crap that most pureblood families spouted off. But, he never tried to make me believe what he did, and that was why we got along so well. I had gotten into a habbit of bringing my muggle items with me when we met up during the summers, so he had, grudingly, admitted that they(muggles) weren't so bad after all.

Now, this is about my side in the War, and I have gotten of track.

So, as I was saying before I had three options, and I really didn't want to do either of them. My solution? Go help and curse whom ever I want!

When I had gotten to the actual battle, I started cursing those that were ganging up on a single person. I'm pretty sure I had used a Jelly Legs curse on Longbottom and, while I felt a little guilty, in the end it didn't matter.

At one point I just started throwing random hexs and curses from the bench I had sat down on a few minutes before hand. If a Death Eater or Pheonix member passed by I'd throw a curse. If it was a classmate, i'd throw a hex. Such as Conjunctivitis, Furnunculus, Locomotor Mortis, Tarantallegra, and the occasional Confundus.

Then, about the time that Voldemort was calling for Potter to come to the Forbiden Forest, Longbottom and Weaslette came, took my wand, and dragged me to the Great Hall. I'm almost positive I looked like a maniac!

I had become "Curse Happy" so my eyes were shining with mischief and the hunger to curse or hex something. They took me over to one of the still standing tables and bound me to it. I'm assuming they did that because I was a "threat". I sat there, bound, until Voldemort and his minions came to the castle with Potters' body that Hagrid was carrying.

Loony had decided that I should be unbound, and removed the curse. I got to the Entrance Hall just as Draco was being called by his parents. I desprately wanted to stop him, but I didn't feel like being a curse target for Voldys' followers.

Then Longbottom and Voldy had that 'discussment' and I, along with everybody else, practically got shocked to death by Potters sudden drop from Hagrids arms. For he rest of the battle I hid in the Great Hall, and watched Bellatrix get completely owned by . It was then that I decided that I would respect the Weasley matron. Well, and the twins.

But, yeah. I may not have really don anything important to help with the War, but I was there and I fought, even if it was unfairly.
