"No, No, No, No, No! It didn't happen. He couldn't have."

Running to Sakura's aid Naruto lifts her head into his arms and cradles her bent form, as tears stream down his face and fall on her hair.

"It isn't happening, it's only a dream, It's only a bad dream. I hate this."

He runs his hands over her back and feels the hole passing straight through her abdomen, and Sakura shivers and coughs a bubble of blood onto his jacket shoulder. He loosens his grip and lowers her so he can look into her eyes only to look down at the hole punched through her chest as tears continue to flow from his eyes.

Her hands find their way to his head and slide down resting at the back of his neck. She pauses to speak, but all that escapes is blood gurgling in her throat and bubbling from her lips and down her chin, falling in drops onto her stomach and pooling with the rest of her blood.

Naruto begins to shake and his face burns, he can feel everything in him boiling over and screaming into his brain.

"I hate this, Why did it have to happen, How could he? He was her friend once… But no, he didn't care he just tore through her heart like everything else he did. I hate him"

Naruto looks up and stares into Sasuke's eyes through Susano's wreath of bone and fire. The eye was there, his face still smirking, as Susano drew back and his weapon and aimed it at Naruto. And then his vision started to blur, at first it began to turn darken, then all the color drained from sight. He could see the Fox, cornered in its' cage, hear it's call. A short attempt to coax him, an offer, and a promise to end the pain.

Pushing the fox back, he feels his vision clear, he sees Sakura on the ground at a distance and feels the massive bolt pinning him to the wall as Sasuke jumps down from his perch and walk towards him.

Her eyes widen and he sees how she winces reaching for her shuriken and her sorrow as her hand falls limp on the ground. Looking at him she gives a slight smile as the color fades from her eyes and her expression freezes in place.

Sasuke reaches out his sword pushing it into Naruto neck barely touching his skin and already slicing it, pausing in his bland emotionless voice and speaking into his microphone his voice reverberates through his mind, "Kyuubi captured."

And then there's the fox with his promise and a wish, just a crack on the gate will do. A pulsing pounding in his head, a nervous shaking through his veins, as he opens the gate, only just a crack, but that's all it takes.

And then all that's left is fire, no Sasuke, no Sakura, no Naruto, only fire.
