The End and the Beginning
As soon as I walk into the room, I notice there's something wrong. Then I remembered. My parents were gone for the weekend! Finally, some freedom! There's only one thing to do. I grab some chips out of the pantry, plop myself down on the couch, and flick through the TV list until I reach my destination.
Doctor Who . I scroll down until I reach my favorite episode, Blink. I flick off the lights and curl up with a pillow. I'm just getting to good part when I hear the back door open. It can't be my parents, they left three hours ago. I feel my heart banging in my chest, like it's trying to escape. This cant be right. There shouldn't be anyone here except me. Trying to calm myself down, I slowly look over my shoulder.
What I see nearly kills me. This cant be happening. This is completely impossible.
Because I'm looking into the eyes of an angel.
Not your godly idol, no, this is much, much worse. This was from a TV show. This couldn't be real. I try to snap out of it, so I close my eyes and rub them. When I open them, I let the remote hit the floor with a loud CRACK. Because now, the angel is two inches away from my face.
