Kagome is the princess of all demons. After being kidnapped by a hanyou, she's not so sure. For all her life, everyone has told her she held some special power. But the question is, what is this power? And will it emerge when she most needs it?

Author's Note- I've decided to rewrite In the Stars. I have read it over and it seems a bit rushed. The plot's not going to change that much. Read and review! XD

-Prologue-

Longago, back in the time of feudal Japan, when Tokyo was called Edo, and women were in kimonos, there lived two kingdoms- the human kingdom, which called itself the RenJian Empire, and the demon kingdom, Janguo, a warrior empire. These two powers fought constantly and soon, the demons took over most of Japan. After their loss in the Great Jan War, the RenJian Empire was forced to flee to the south.

Soon, the news of a human baby girl in reached the northern powers. She was no ordinary girl. She was a princess, the second daughter of the royal human family. This girl was said to hold the legendary jewel in her very bones. The Shikon, both the humans and demons called it. They were unsure of what magic and power it holds, but the demons were eager to get their hands on this child and unite all of Japan under their rule.

And so they mapped out a plan, to kidnap her for their own. And they succeeded.

The baby then was one year old, and her name was Kagome.
