A Friday Night
Summary: it's a Friday night and Mikan can't sleep so she looked out her window and saw Natsume. She decided to go to him and guess what might happen. Pairing: NxM
It's a Friday night and Mikan just can't sleep, it's as if something is telling her to stay awake. Mikan moved around her bed but still, she could not sleep. She got tired of trying to sleep and got up from her bed and went to her window and looked around, she saw the sakura tree but that was not the only thing she saw. "Natsume…" she whispered to herself slightly blushing. She saw Natsume resting his back on the sakura tree, so she decided to go to him.
At the Sakura tree…Mikan saw Natsume and she greeted him, "Hi Natsume, what are you doing out here?"
He just looked at her and went back to his nap. Mikan got a little irritated but still did not stop. "Natsume! Talk to me already! I am bored," she said as she sat next to him.
Natsume got tired of her whining and look at her straight in the eye, "what are you doing here, Polka?" Mikan frowned and said, "My name is M-I-K-A-N, ugh! Anyway… I can't sleep but I want to sleep, but I just can't" she said getting less irritated.
Natsume simply replied, "whatever" she then asked him, "how long do you plan to stay out here Natsume?"
He said, "as long as I want to, just go to your room, Polka" Mikan said to him with a frown, " I. DON'T. WANT!" Natsume was irritated and said, "fine, you can stay here, I don't care." Mikan looked at him and smiled.
She then saw him closing his eyes and said, "Natsume, don't go to sleep yet…please!" Natsume was totally pissed but he managed to control his anger and said, "what now?"
She softly replied, "don't go to sleep yet Natsume" then he asked getting really annoyed, "then what do you want me to do here then?"
Mikan now replied smiling, "you keep me company" he said "no" but she begged him with her puppy dog eyes and he finally gave in, "fine" she rejoiced silently (as if that could happen…hehe). They were silent for a few minutes then Mikan broke the silence and asked while stuttering her words and blushing, "Natsume, d-do you l-like so-someone?"
She looked away because she did not expect him to answer but to her surprise, he did. "I do love someone," he said while looking away so that he could hide his blush.
Mikan was shocked; she kind of felt sad because she never thought that the girl he loved was she. She then asked him, "really? Who is it?" Natsume said while smirking, "it's none of your business"
Mikan bugged him until he gave in, "Natsume…. come on! Tell me already, I'm very sure she will love you back!!! Tell me pleeease!" she pleaded with her cute puppy dog eyes.
Natsume asked still smirking, "Do you really want to know?" Mikan nodded and the next thing she knew, Natsume pushed her back by his right arm causing her to move to him and he kissed her…
on the LIPS!!!
Mikan was shocked and had eyes big as saucers, she raised her hands to his chest and tried to pull back but Natsume's right hand stopped her from doing so, eventually, she was giving in to the kiss and she kissed him back, after the one minute kiss, he broke the kiss and hugged her and whispered in her ear, "it's you, Idiot"
Mikan was shocked and she hugged him back and said, "if you love me, why are you so mean on me?" she asked as she was crying tears of joy.
He replied, "to get your attention, stupid" he then said to her, "Mikan… I Love you" then Mikan said, "I love you too, Natsume" then Natsume pulled her in for another passionate kiss and they enjoyed their night in each other's arms.
