Okay, everybody. First post in a long time, but I wrote a sonnet for English class and it's based off of SasuSaku if you can't already guess. I have major writer's block for Sakura no Tenshi and am getting help/counseling about that from my best friend so don't worry! Chapter 8 is in the works and I'm trying to flesh out some ideas i've had. Might take a while but i promise it'll be worth it.

She heard soft whispers on a moonlit night
Reunion of the two forever bound
By simple red string they could never fight
So trembling lips let pass not a sound
Dark midnight hair and shining jade green eyes
A mixture from their passionate embrace
She watched the string stretch from heartfelt goodbyes
And saw the tears on her mother's face
The maiden leaves them and thinks, 'where's the key?
For the two people are eyes of the heart
Please hold this moment for eternity'
But for long they will never be apart
She knows the day will come when he can stay
