This is a little poem I wrote inspired by a piano piece called Rain. Listen to it here, it's the prettiest thing EVER!

It supposedly had the words to "You Raise Me Up" with it, which is a song I love as well, but they took the lyrics out so it's just instrumental. Anyway, for some reason, it made me think of Sora watching a sunset in the water but with a very, very sad feel to it. So this is just what flowed out while I was listening.
It made me think of Sora's life without Kairi, what he would be like, what he would think and feel. So this poem is him alone on the island, standing in the water and watching the sun set months after she's gone. So please enjoy and tell me what you think:) (sorry if I make you cry, I almost made myself cry so...)
Waiting
I stand with the waves crashing around me
The sun paints the clouds and flickers across my face
And I stand, looking into the light
Waiting
But for what?
For a miracle?
To wake up?
Do I really still think this is a dream?
Dreams don't hurt
This is real
And as much as I wish I could open my eyes
And have you in my arms again
I can't
Because you're gone
Claws of darkness tearing at my flesh meant nothing
A blade through my chest is nice compared to this
But this pain, it's different
It drains me, makes me numb
To everything around me
I don't even notice the beauty of a sunset anymore
It's just light
The ocean is just water
Just there
Just an object
It's not you
And as they rolled your empty shell down the streets
I wept and I looked at you
And you were beautiful
Still so beautiful, even when you were deep asleep
How did you love someone like me?
How can it hurt to lose something I never deserved?
You promised you'd go with me wherever I went
But I can't do the same for you
Unless...
Unless I leave
Unless I leave this world to see you again
I should care about everyone
About Mom, about Riku
About what they'd think
But I can't
My heart can't feel anymore
How else do you deal with loss?
How do you find something else to fight for?
What can you do?
Besides wait...
