I know I havnt been doing this but I do not own Gorillaz. You peeps should know that XD

Noodle slowly woke up. The sunlight shining through the blinds and hitting her face. She groaned and pulled the covers up to her face; blocking the sun's rays. Before she let sleep embrace her, she shot opened her eyes and got out of bed, still in her pajamas. "It's 2D's birthday!" she thought and ran to 2D's room. The door was shut but she didn't let that bother her. She grabbed hold on the doorhandle and opened the door silently.

2D laid there all snuggled under his blankets with a warm smile on his face. Noodle smiled. She was putting this under 'cuteness' that he did. Noodle silently but quickly reached his bed. She bent down and gently gave him a kiss on the lips. 2D stirred and rolled over to his side. Noodle giggled and went to the otherside of the bed and did the same agian.

2D groaned and opened his eyes and smiled wider. He realized who woke him up and loved it. Noodel standing there, still in her pajamas. The singer was oblivious of what today is. He started to rise up from his bed, stretching.

"Ey Noods." He said; voice thick of sleep. He was surprised. The years passing by he never actually got any sleep, only to be woken up by his migraines or Murdoc's yelling at him about something that didn't apply to him at all. It made him sad thinking about it but over the years, he seemed to get used to it. Noodle noticed 2D's frown and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"What's wrong?" Her voice sounding a bit worried.

"Nothin'. Just thinkin'" He smiled up at her, telling her everything is okay. Noodle smiled and lunged herself at him, kissing him. 2D happily did the same. They both have been dating 3 months, but they had to keep it a secret away from the other members. Murdoc would...well wht Murdoc would do like he always does anyway but Russel was the real problem. The thought of it made Noodle cringed. Just imagine his reaction to them saying that they were dating. It would make 2D end up in a hospital.

"Guess what today is!" Noodle happily said to him, wondering if he knew what today is.

2D only gave a blank stare. Noodle took a deep breath before letting it out. "Today is your birthday Toochi. May 23rd right?"

His vacant stare soon turned into realization of what today is. "Oh yeah!" He laughed. "I 'hought 't 'as 'esterday."

Noodle laughed and cuddled close to him, sharing his warmth. "No silly. Happy birthday." She kissed him on the cheek, making him blush a little.

"Fank yew lil' luv." And he gave Noodle a warm, loving hug. But he noticed her frowning.

"Wot's wrong?" He hated seeing her all sad. He brushed some of her hair out of the way so that he could see her emerald eyes.

"I didn't get anything for you..." She said quietly, looking up at him.

2D was shocked. He usually got gifts only from his parents, not no one else. He simple smiled and laid back down on the bed, bringing Noodle with him, who simply laid her head on his chest.

"Yew don't 'ave to 'et me anyfink lil' luv. Wanna 'now why?" He gently ran his fingers through her hair. She looked up at him. "Why?"

"Because your the 'est present 'or me." And with that, he kissed her.
