My project is on marsh biomes. A marsh is a type of wetland that is subject to frequent or continuous flood. The water is shallow and features grasses, reefs, rushes, and typhus.a marsh can be similar to a swamp but can be very different because a swamp is covered in trees but a marsh is covered by water.
There are many different types of biotic features like grasses and reefs, but they're not the only living thing in a marsh there a lot more. A marsh has some underwater animals such as fish, shrimp and plankton they live under the water they feed of the moss in the water. There are also some animals living on the water such as ducks geese and duckweed and they feed off the fish in the water. A marsh has some animals that lie beside the water like snakes and mice so the snakes eat the mice and the mice eat smaller things.
The abiotic features are the things that take up most of the space in a marsh. The marsh water is salt and it is an abiotic feature. The water is what a marsh is mostly made of but it's not all the way made up of water. The sunlight is an abiotic feature but it's not always shining in the marsh..Now that's my project and I enjoyed writing it.
