After that time that Miori talked to me at gym, things have been good. And I gave up street fighting for good, for Miori. I made Shido spread the word that I was not going to be involved with fights anymore. I know some people are going to be pissed about this but it was for the best. That way I'll have a few more years on my life. I and Shido were walking to school when he confronted me.

"So I was saying to her…hey what the?"

"Hey Kenji, what's up?"

"What do you want Omi?"

Omi Kazumi my bitter rival. He goes to Roshi high school. He has been wanting to beat me since last year and he still hasn't ha. He's weak, even though trains, he still not strong. He thinks that technique is more important than strategy. In a street fight it's about strategy not what technique you use.

"I heard that you're done street fighting Kenji, is this true?"

"Yes, now get off of me!"

"What, does your life revolve around beating me?"

"Yeah right, come on Shido lets go."

I didn't much about it and so I went on with my day. I decided that I would tell Miori how I really felt about her when we walked home together. The last bell rang and I waited for her in the hallway. She came up to me and we left for home. But I had this strange feeling someone was watching us.

"So that's reason he's not fighting anymore. It was because of a girl."

"So what are you going to do about it Omi?"

"He would want to protect her at all cost right? So let's give him a reason to fight."

We were silent most of time. I decided this would be perfect for me finally to confess my love for her.

"Miori, there's something I have to tell you."

"What is it Kenji?"

"Ever since we were kids, I have been…Agh!"

"Kenji..ahhhhh!"

I woke up a few minutes later. My head was hurting and then I saw a note beside me.

I have taken your girlfriend. If you ever want to her see her again, meet me in the allyway near your school.

I ran fast as I could to that allyway. I hope Omi hasn't done anything to Miori

Kenji was about to tell me something when I was knocked out. And then I woke in an allyway with some guy looking at me.

"Who are you? And where am I."

"I'm Omi and I'm holding you hostage."

"WHAT! You know Kenji will come for me."

"That's the whole point hahaha."

"All this just so you could fight Kenji?"

"Yes."

"Then you're nothing but a coward!"

"Why you little…"

"Don't you even touch her!"

"Kenji!"

"Well Kenji you finally showed up, let's get this show on the road."

"Alright let's go."

We fought. It was over hour of throwing punches and kicks at each other. But he was starting to beat me and that's when I fell to the ground.

"Agh…ow…awh."

"Kenji are you okay?"

"Ha I finally beat you hahaha!"

"Shut up you coward!"

"I told you not to call me that bitch!"

"Ahhh."

"Miori!"

He hit her that made me go off! Now he's going to pay!

"How dare you hit the girl I love! And now you're going to pay for it! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

All of a sudden I had as burst of energy and started to beat him with all my heart. He was so bloody and bruised you couldn't recognized him.

What! He loves me? I was shocked! But then I realized that I love him too. I loved him since the day we met.

I went up to him and pulled him close to me.

"Now you listen here Omi, I'm done with street fighting get it! I want to go on with my life. Now if you ever go near Miori ever again, don't think I won't hesitate to kill you! Got it!"

He just nodded and ran away probably to the nearest hospital. That's when I finally collapsed.

"Kenji lets get you home and bandage you up."

"Okay..Miori."

She helped me walked all the way home. I couldn't help but love her more.
