The Best Kinds of Words

A Glee Oneshot

AN: Hello! This will be my first Glee story! It is set three years after Blaine graduates from McKinley.

Disclaimer: Glee does not belong to me!

Blaine Anderson looked in the mirror at his perfectly gelled hair. In a way, this was how he would describe his relationship with Kurt. Perfect and controlled. After he had graduated from McKinley, he moved into Kurt's apartment in Albany, New York. The three years have been pure bliss. They had taken their relationship to the next level and had gotten married a year after they had started living together. It was a small ceremony with close friends and family. Of course, the New Directions were apart of it. The girls were 'groomsmaids' and the boys were the best men. Kurt insisted on the colors Tiffany blue and eggshell. The trouble they had in finding a Tiffany blue dress that fit four months pregnant Rachel!

As soon as the baby was born, Kurt was hit by the baby bug. He started looking into adoption stories and the like. Blaine had no problem, but he wasn't ready for that. He had told Kurt his concerns and Kurt agreed to let it go, for awhile. Not even two months had passed before Kurt mentioned it again. Blaine agreed to go meet with perspective surrogates, but it wasn't the same. Kurt didn't seem to mind that the child wouldn't look like a mix of Blaine and himself. Blaine did.

The pitter patter of little feet drew Blaine out of his stupor. Before he knew it, he was tackled from behind. "Got you!" a little voice screamed. "Theo? Theodore Anderson Hummel Where are you?" Kurt's soprano voice rang out. "He's in here, love," Blaine replied. Theo was a perfect mix of his dads; he had light brown wavy hair down to his chin, chocolate brown eyes that were large and expressive, and a knack for singing. How did he get to be a perfect mix? Blaine had found a company for homosexuals who wanted natural children, but were unable to have them. The company would find a surrogate or donor to the clients' liking before combining the clients' sperm or eggs together. Kurt and Blaine picked a surrogate who looked rather plain to them. Her name was Rosie. She had dark, chocolate brown wavy hair and gray/blue eyes. None of her features were really strong on her face, which is why she was chosen. Theo got to see his biological mother once every month, so he would get a mother's love as well as a father's love.

Kurt walked in the master bath to see his five year old giving his husband a major hug. "Theo, we've got to get you ready for school," he said. Theo turned and gave him puppy eyes. "Do I have to? What are you and Dad gonna do while I'm gone?" he asked. "I'm sure we'll be miserable without you," Blaine sympathized. Theo smiled. "You better be!" He reached for Kurt and pulled him closer. "Oh!" Kurt gave a surprised yelp. Blaine laughed and gave Kurt a one armed hug, keeping his other arm around Theo. "I didn't get a chance to say 'good morning'," Blaine said. Without warning, he kissed Kurt hard on the lips. Kurt lifted his hands to Blaine's face and held his cheeks as he was kissed to within an inch of his life. "I love you," Kurt said.
