Just an idea I had of what if something more drastic had happened before Tommy had remembered who he was in "King For A Day Pt 2". Belongs to Haim Saban, Fox Kids, and Disney. Uses lines from "Green With Evil Pt 3: The Rescue" and the actual ep. I only own the twist.
"Tommy, try and think of all things we've been through," Katherine encouraged.
"NO!" As Tommy lashed out, Jason quickly pulled Katherine away. He remembered how dangerous his friend could be under a spell.
"So, trying to protect her, huh, Gold Ranger?" Tommy sneered.
"Tommy," Jason said again, his voice full of reproach.
"You will be eliminated," Tommy growled, and lunged at him. Jason groaned as he was knocked to the ground. The others stared, unsure of what to do. Jason tried to get up.
"Oh, no you don't," Tommy warned, placing a foot on his wrist. Jason gasped as Tommy unsheathed his Zeo Saber and held it above him. No. No again, he thought to himself. Jason flinched as the Green Ranger swung the Sword Of Darkness over him.
"The battle is over. I am the victor," Tommy sneered. Underneath his suit, his brows furrowed. Why did that sound so familiar?
"Tommy, stop!" Tanya called and started for him, but the energy from the sword knocked her back. "For what it's worth, you put up a pretty good fight. But now you're gonna feel the agony of defeat."
"No. Tommy, please." The other Rangers started in surprise when they heard the fear in the Gold Ranger's voice. Please, Bro, snap of it! Don't do this! his mind screamed. The sword came down.
"NO!" When the sword was almost to his chest, Tommy suddenly stopped.
"Jason?" he asked in surprise.
"Tommy, Bro, is that you?" he questioned.
"What are you doing? He is your enemy!" Gaskett reminded him.
"Zeo Ranger 5, Power Down!" As Tommy de-morphed, Jason stood up. "You're my enemy, Gaskett. And I'm leaving with my friends." They tried to teleport, but found they couldn't. When the monsters in the arena came at them and they tried to morph, they were met with the same result. Then, suddenly, the barriers exploded and they teleported out.
Later that day, they all sat at a table at Ernie's Beach Club.
"Jase, I'm so sorry about Gaskett's arena," Tommy apologized.
"Don't worry, Bro. It's fine," Jason told him.
"No, it's not! This is the second time I've nearly sliced and diced you," Tommy stated.
"You were under a spell," Jason reminded.
"Jase, I heard you. You were terrified," Tommy said. Then, "Man, why is it always me? How come I'm always getting mind-warped?" Billy reached out and squeezed Tommy's shoulder as Jason put a comforting hand on his friend's wrist.
