Aaaaahhhhh! My body jerked up from the bed. I looked around. Outside was dark and I checked the clock. It said 2 am. I looked at my brother. He was awake too. His hair was over his eyes. His small arms were around his ears.

I walk over to him. I rubbed his back. "It's okay Ryen. It's okay."

He put his arms around me. I hugged him back tightly. "Rose, why is mommy screaming so much?" he asked.

"I don't know," I lied. In school we talked about history. The teachers told us about the rebellion and how my parents started it all and they conquered too.

"I'm going to go check on mom. Stay here and try to go to sleep, Rye."

"I want to go check in mom too," he said.

"No I'll be quick I promise just try to go back to sleep."

"But I want to know," he whined

"Okay Rye but we have to sleep after, okay?"

He nodded. We got off his bed. I took his hand and we walked out the room. We crossed the hall. I cracked the door a bit and stuck my head in. Ryen did the same. Dad was holding mom. Mom was crying and was hugging dad back. I walked in a bit. Ryen followed. "Mom are you okay?" I asked.

Mom leaned up and sat straight. "Yes, Rose I'm fine just had a little nightmare." she said.

"Are you sure mommy?" Rye asked.

"Yes, Rye," she said her voice gentle. "Come up here you two."

I picked up Rye and set him on mom. I climbed on top of the bed and sat in the middle of mom and dad. "Mom, why do you get nightmares so much?" Rye asked in a whispered voice.

"There are some bad parts before in my life and they come in a dream. That's all Rye, nothing scary." she said in a soothing voice. She pushed back a piece of his out of his face. I hug mom.

She hugs back tightly. "You guys should go back to sleep now. You two have school tomorrow," she said.

I nod. "Come Rye we should go."

"Okay. Love you mom. Love you dad."

He gives a kiss on the cheek to mom and dad and I do the same. I get off the bed and carry Rye down. I take his hand and we walk back to our room. I walk Rye to his bed and tuck him in. I start walking back to my bed. I lie down and put the blanket over me. I start thinking about what my mother had to go through. Losing everything, her sister, her friends, and her district. I hear some whimpering. It must be mom again. "Rose, I can't sleep, will you sing please?" Ask Rye.

"Of course." I say.

I get off my bed and sit on the edge of his bed. I move his hair out of his face. "What do you want me to sing?"

"Deep in the meadow," he said smiling.

I smile back at him and I start singing...

Deep in the meadow under the willow

A bed of grass a soft green pillow

Lay down your head and close your sleepy eyes

And when they open the sun will rise.

I look at Rye, his eyes are closed and his face soft. He always loved that song, ever since mom song it to us. I tucked him in again. I got up. I heard more whimpering and gasping. I walked over to the hallway. I looked around. Nobody was out. I walked across the hall and put my ear to the door. "It's okay Katniss. All of it is in the past. We must be strong for our kids," said a man's voice that has to be dads.

"I know. I will. I just keep on thinking about Prim, Finnick, poor Annie who has to take care of a kid, Pollux, Wiress, and everyone who died or lost someone." a voice said that had to be moms.

Annie, Aunt Annie with our cousin Finn. Aunt Prim who died when she was one year older than me. But who was Pollux and Wiress?

"You should go to sleep and remember they died so thousands could be set free from the terrible things the capitol did."

"Okay. Thank you Peeta. I love you"

"I love you too," dad said.

There was no more noise after that. I went back to the bedroom and went in my bed. I thought about the names mom just said. I fell asleep thinking about the names.
