It had been a little over a month since Jareth was diagnosed with the illness and Sarah had settled into a routine of caring for him. She would give him this special elixir that was created by the goblin physicians to hopefully slow the progression of the disease. Also the king asked her to attend to his royal duties for the length of his incapacitation. But luckily for Sarah, her love was nearly all the way recovered and according to his goblin minions, he had a plan up his sleeve to keep the girl in the labyrinth for as long as he would live...
That afternoon Sarah entered the throne room to conduct a meeting with the goblin council regarding the status of the conflict between the Underground and the Forest Kingdom. Just as the meeting was about to convene however, Hoggle burst through the throne room doors, panic stricken.
"Sarah, something is wrong with Jareth! He's unconscious". The goblin elaborated before leading his friend out of the room.
