"ITALY!" I yelled into the night. The rain poured down around me as the sky lit up with lightning. My fist shook as I stood there with my teeth clenched together. Where had they taken him? What were those filthy American solders going to do to my poor little Italy.

My mind didn't even want to think about the horrible acts they might perform on what was and is mine. So, all I could do now was to follow. Leave my men behind and follow.

As my feet trudges through the thick muddy ground my mind wandered over the past and over the "good" things I had done. I had been so willing to let this insignificant little boy into my heart because of one word…friend.

Italy really wasn't my friend…no he was more. Italy was the person who everyday seemed to amaze me. Of course…I'd never tell anyone that. No one deserved to know about this or about the little soft spot I had for that pasta loving man.

Pasta. Italy and his pasta obsession. Oh the things that obsession had lead to. A dirty grin crossed my face as I thought of the brunet covered in pasta sauce ready for me to eat up. You know…now that I think about it pasta sauce kind of looks like….

Blood. Yes blood. That red liquid that fills our veins and is our life source. My eyes were staring at some blood right now. It was on the ground a trail of it lead up to the stone structure where I could hear the sounds of Italy begging, screaming, crying.

"ITALY!" I scrammed running at the stone wall. My fist collided with the wall as I desperately looked for a way in. There were no weak spots.

"Verdammen Sie Sie Amerika. Sie Feigling! Lassen Sie mich ein. Sehen Sie mir wie ein Mann ins Gesicht!" I yelled my fist throbbing from the pain as I pulled it back and collide it into the wall yet again. I was getting nowhere but I continued to beat at the stone. My hand was bloody and the cries were slowing. My body shook as rage consumed me.

"Bastard! Sie BASTARD!" I yelled as I let my body slide down the wall. Tears slide down my cheeks as I repeated the word over and over again.

"Bastard"

"Bastard"

"Bastard!"
