Prologue

The weekend had finally come. 'I'm hoping that we get to go to Potosi this weekend,' I thought as I was getting my homework into my backpack. Potosi is an old closed hot springs resort that was bought and turned into a summer home by a wealthy old married couple from Texas. My dad takes care of the place while they are away for most of the year. Occasionally, he takes me and my brother up there to get firewood to sell and use, take a soak, or spend the night up there. There is a computer on the second floor that I usually goof around on, but I usually read manga or watch videos.

It's my freshman year in high school, and so far it isn't the best school year. The school lunches are as malnutritional as ever. The English class is close to making me fall asleep. It's about mid-January, and it's nearing the end of the first semester (thank god). Life at home is better than school. Calm, slowly-paced, and never boring. My little brother is as annoying as always. Life is going fairly good for me.

As I was walking home I was thinking about a manga that I'd been reading recently called Ranma½. It's probably one of the most abnormal manga series that I've read, but it's also one of the most interesting and entertaining ones. As I was walking up to my mom's apartment, I heard the sound of my dad's Prius pulling into the driveway.

While dad was cooking dinner for me and my brother downstairs, I was upstairs finishing off a Tobygames Minecraft episode called 'Phoenix Bow'. As I was closing the tab and going to the manga site that I normally go to, dad called to me that dinner was ready. I got up to peer out the window overlooking the living room and kitchen. "I'll be down in a few minutes," I said looking down to the kitchen.

'Hopefully the manga site has loaded by now,' I thought to myself as I walked back to the desk. I looked at the monitor expecting to see the home page for the site, but I was only greeted by a blank white screen. I leaned to my right to shut the computer down. Nothing changed. I then got up to unplug the monitor. Same result. 'That can't be good,' I thought backing away from the computer. I really began to freak out when I saw that the screen began to get brighter.

And brighter…

'Man… what the hell happened?' I thought as I slowly began to regain consciousness. I wanted to stay asleep, but my mind wouldn't allow it. I slowly opened my eyes. Above me I saw a blue sky, but there was some difference between this one and the one I knew. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I got up and looked at my surroundings. 'Bare, jagged mountains… low valley surrounded by cliffs… tons of springs with… bamboo… poles…,'

I decided not to panic.

"JUSENKYO?! HOW THE HELL DID I GET TO JUSENKYO?!" I soon noticed, not a second after I finished yelling to myself, that there was the growing sound of another yell. It was getting closer, and fast. I turned around and was met by a face full of white cloth.

WHAM!

I took a guess at what would happen next.

SPLASH!

As soon as I hit the water, a strange tingling sensation went over me, much like getting Goosebumps. I was still a bit dazed from the blow I took, but I still had my sense of direction. So, I decided to get my head out of the water. When I broke the surface, I heard talking close to me. "…year ago! Now whoever fall in spring, take body of young girl!" I looked to my right and saw Ranma staring right back at me with a look of shock on his face. We stared at each other for a few seconds… Then looked down at ourselves.

GAAAAHHHHH!

MMMMM

For those of you that didn't notice (and I highly doubt that anyone wouldn't have noticed), I made myself fall into the Spring of Drowned Girl. The reason that I chose to do that was because I would like to stay human, and I couldn't see myself as an animal. With that being said, I have two things left to say:

I do NOT own Ranma ½!

Please review and say what you think of this story; I would like to know that i'm not alone here.
