Just a little idea I had after covering a chair in glitter from my top!
They aren't mine.

"Sarah, old thing, you haven't seen the Doctor anywhere have you?" Harry said to his travelling companion. They were both in the console room, Harry was reading, and Sarah was busy writing.
"Huh? Oh, no I haven't seen him since about ten minutes after we got back," Sarah sighed, looking up from her work. " Why?"
Harry held
out the sonic screwdriver. "Found this on the floor. He'll want
it at some point."
Abandoning their work, the two set out in
search of the Doctor. There was a big pile of papers immediately
outside the door, and Sarah promptly fell over it. Harry was just
quick enough to catch her before she hit the floor.
"Well, it's nice to see that the age of chivalry isn't dead," Sarah muttered. Harry had bent down to look at the papers. They were all blank. He stood up and noticed something sparkly on the floor. " I say, old girl, what's all that?" he said, as there seemed to be a trail of it all the way up the corridor.
Sarah shot him a "don't call me old girl " look, but bent down, and had a look. "I think its glitter. Why is that lying all over the place?"
The same thought occurred to both of them at the same time. They stood up and followed the trail for nearly half an hour, finally stopping outside a room that was in the very heart of the TARDIS.
Sarah indicated the door. "Shall we?" she asked, and opened the door.
The sight was met with an "Oh, I say!" from Harry and a "Why?" from Sarah.
The Doctor had finished sticking the labels onto five small objects on the counter. There was glitter on every conceivable surface; on the floor, on the sticky labels, on papers, and the walls, on the counter that the objects were resting on, in the Doctor's hat, scarf, hair, jacket, everywhere.
"Ah,
Sarah, Harry!" He beamed at them cheerily. "I wondered when you
would show up."
Harry handed him back the sonic screwdriver,
and took a look around. "What on earth is all this, Doctor?"
"Well,
that's why I need this!" The Doctor aimed the screwdriver at the
nearest black object, and it started to buzz.
Sarah
couldn't hide her curiosity. "What exactly does that do? It won't
kill us or anything will it?"
"Oh good heavens, no. Just a
little surprise!"
As the black thing rose into the air. Harry
saw, with a smile, that Sarah had crossed her fingers behind her
back.
The Doctor's manic grin did nothing to ease her worries.
The black thing exploded, in a shower of red glitter, which must have been at least four tubes worth. It stuck to everything.
"Well? Aren't glitter bombs effective? I'm going to make some to use against the Daleks! Would you like to lend a hand?" The Doctor was grinning even broader now. He was now a walking glitter man.
Sarah shook some of the stuff out of her hair. She had always hated glitter and couldn't wait to get out. Harry evidently felt the same.
"No, Doctor. Thanks for the offer, but I have to get back to work!" Sarah added.
"We'll leave you to it," Harry said as he pulled the door shut.
