I posted this once before, but it was flawed and got next to no response, I deleted the old one, made some changes and re-posted.
Idealistic - Having no flaw, absolutely perfect. Most teenage girls want an idealistic man. I have one (well he's almost perfect) and trust me, it's not ideal at all. He's handsome, he's charming, he can sing, he can dance, he's perfect. Jesse St. James. It's a name that inevitably will show up in lights one day. He isn't perfect though, maybe to any other girl, but not to me. He's jealous of my friend Finn. Being jealous doesn't make you perfect, and being perfect or close to it doesn't make you a real person, it makes you a fake.
Imperfect- flawed. Finn Hudson is defiantly flawed. He worries, he gets upset, he's been jealous a lot lately, ten times more then Jesse. He's not the smartest, he can't dance very well and sometimes he sings a note a bit off key. He doesn't look perfect either, his hair is always messy, he has frayed jeans and some shirts with visible stains. He is real. He has emotions, wants and fears. He tries his best to stand up for people. He, despite all his flaws, told his perfect rival's girlfriend (yeah that's me) he has a crush on her, in song (Jesse's Girl, I much preferred in to the original. His imperfection makes him lovable and endearing.
Favored- preferring of something more then another. I don't favor the perfect one, with the perfect hair, perfect voice and perfect charm. I favor the imperfect boy, who despite all his flaws, really does love me, looks at me with adoration, and doesn't tell me what I could improve on like the perfect one, who believes he's above me.
Finn Hudson- my imperfect first love. That I've just chosen over the nearly perfect man.
