I rested my head on your stomach and snuggled in to you, breathing in your scent. It smelt like vanilla and sugar, tangerines and cotton candy. It smelt like happiness and bliss and you.

I hummed contentedly. This was nice. It was Christmas holiday, and most of the school was gone. We were in the empty dorm, positioned on my bed so we could see up and out of the window and see the stars. I always wished on the same two stars every night—the ones I said were you and me.

"R'mus?" I murmured sleepily. It was ridiculously late, but you always stayed up. My head bobbed up and down with your silent laugh.

"Yes, Sirius?"

I smiled crookedly. "You're 'mazing."

"I know," you teased. I wriggled even closer against you.

"No, I mean 't. You're smart, an', an', you smell real nice, an', you're gorgeous, an', you don' mind puttin' up with me, even when I'm all redic'luss like now. You like me, an', I like you, an'… an' I never wannit ta end."

You ran your fingers through my hair gently, and I shivered.

"Silly Sirius," you said quietly. I closed my eyes. Maybe if I didn't have so much sight distracting me, I could focus on your voice and your smell and you. If I listened close enough, I could hear your smile.

I found an echoing smile on my face again.

"You're s' good at makin' me smile," I whispered.

Sleep was creeping up on me. I could feel it. But now I wanted to fight it off, stay awake just a bit longer.

I waited in the dark, listening for your voice, your smile, and struggling to keep my drooping eyes open.

You took a break from fiddling with my hair and rested your hand lightly on my bare arm. A wave of warmth shot through my whole body at your touch.

I'd given up on keeping my eyes open, but I smiled and bit my bottom lip.

"Sirius?"

"R'mus?"

My head bobbed again while you chuckled softly. "Happy six months."

"You 'membered!" I breathed excitedly.

"Of course I did, Siri." Your grin was even wider. "Silly Sirius."

"Moony?"

"Padfoot?"

"I l've you."

"I know," you whispered against my hair. "Go to sleep Siriuis, my star."

And so I did, dreaming of tangerines and stars and you and you and you.

A/N: There's really not much I can say.
But happy six months to Loquacious Girl, and I'm sorry it was so short.
