Edward growled across the room breaking me out of my thoughts.
Suck it up bloodsucker I thought before turning back to Nessie.
" what are you guys saying?" Nessie pouted and sat on my lap.
"nothing.." I trailed off.
" sure sure..." she said rolling her eyes.
She was so beautiful I could see right down her shirt at this angle... Edward came over and slapped me before leaving the room.
"oh jacob, what's with you and dad" she sighed and grabbed my hand.
" I'm tired can you take me home?" she asked yawning.
" sure sure, don't want a wolf hurting you" we both laughed and we headed off to the cottage.
As soon as we could see the cottage I slowed down a bit, soaking up what few minutes left I had with her. She hugged me and then we reached the cottage door.
" well bye.." I said awkwardly turning to leave.
Just as I was almost out of eye sight she squealed after me.
"wait... can you read me a story?"
YESS! I smiled real big and ran back to her.
She left to change and I sat on her bed waiting. I looked around in her room. There was her baby quilt only used for one week folded up in a corner. Her four poster bed was littered with clothes and her stereo was playing a song i wasn't familiar with.
I heard a loud noise from the bathroom, I leaned forward listening for her voice.
"owwww" she muttered under her breath.
"Ness are you ok?" I leaned in toward the door , ready to break it down for her.
She started crying and I barged in. She was wearing a small tank top and small short shorts. She was AHHHH-mazing. Snap out of it Jake!!
"Ness?" I said softly pulling her into my arms.
"mmm" her voice trembled.
I looked down into her soft green eyes. She stared up and a tear slid down her face.
" ness it's ok, what happened?" I asked rubbing her back.
" Jacob , I love you..." she trailed off more tears pouring down her face.
"why are you sad" confusion spread through me.
" I know you don't feel the same... you treat me like your best friend." She cried harder hiding her face against me.
I gently lifted her chin pressing my lips against hers.
" Ness, I love you, you are absolutely amazing.
" oh jacob!!!" She cried out hugging me tightly.
I kissed her on the forehead and she laughed.
"all this worrying for nothing" she sighed planting her lips on mine.
