A/N: Alright so this is my first Dragon Age story that I'm publishing and I'm doing a compilation of one-shots. If you have a prompt let me know.

It All Started…..

"I really hope we are getting paid for this Hawke," Varric groaned in the back of the company.

"Well I don't know maybe you should have conversation with him Dwarf to Dwarf Varric," Hawke jested

"Maker have mercy. You mean to say you haven't thought this through?" Varric moaned.

"I thought it was Fenris job to be the broody and complain." Hawke smirked at Varric.

"I do not brood nor do I complain." Fenris chimed in.

"Keep telling yourself that and maybe it will come true." Varric interjected.

"Look we made it," Hawke said to stop the unprofessional conversation before entering the towering and vaguely intimidating walls of the Qunari compound. After Fenris join Hawke's companions he spoke very little, but he once mentioned the Qunari. Hawke knew very little other than what she had heard on the street or from Fenris. She was quite excited though she did not know why yet.

"Shanedan, I am here about a Dwarf." She stated

"Yes the Arishok will have an audience with you."

They made their way through the compound toward the sound of a frustrated Dwarf. When she first saw the Arishok their eyes connected, after that it was all over. She tuned out most of what everyone, except what he, was saying. The last thing he said was for them to "leave this place there is no coin for you here." After they left for the Hangedman she was still in a daze it wasn't until Varric put a drink in front of her did she snap out of it.

"Hawke you doing okay?" Varric asked.

"Yes, just making a plan." She replied half heartedly

"You making a plan that's funny Hawke," Varric and the rest of the table chuckled.

"Exactly what is this plan," Isabella ask leaning over the table.

"Fenris exactly how does one woo the Arishok?" she ask. Fenris spit out his drink.

"Why would you want to do that." Fenris question with raised eyebrows.

"I'm making that my new goal. I'm going to screw the Arishok." She said definitively as she took a drink of her beer. As Isabella fell out of her chair laughing, Varric chimed,

"This will be a great story one day."
