Pain. That's all I felt when I saw my parents die by the hooves of that... monster! All I can remember doing so was running away from that house, running until my hooves bled.
Her eyes shot open, breathing heavily " Why...", she closed her eyes, sobbing " Why did he do it…" she stopped crying after a while and stood up shakily, she started thinking what am I going to do now?
She glanced outside and saw a plump looking apple which made her stomach growl, I am hungry though, she thought hopefully, she ran to the tree and attempted to use a levitation spell to retrieve the apple, which in turn backfired and ended up exploding in her face, sending her stumbling back a few feet
She shouted as she felt a sharp pain a few seconds later, " ow!" it was the apple, she gasped then grabbed it eagerly and ate it faster than you could say jackrabbit, she didn't feel hungry anymore so she decided to go back into her cave.
she looked at a wall and read the words she wrote in chalk, she read the words 'Jasey Moore' she then scratched it out with a piece of chalk around her neck, crying while doing so," not like it matters anymore… nopony even knows I exist now…" Jasey starts to cry
The next morning Jasey woke up with her eyes burning, she decided to go for a walk in the everfree forest. She heard a scream and she quickly turned the direction it came from, she saw a manticore pinning a blue pony with rainbow colored mane on the ground. At first, she was exited to see another pony, but then she got scared. She didn't know how to save her.
" Help! Somepony please!" the mysterious pony called out ," I have to save my friends!" Jasey then ran at the manticore and bucked it with all her might. The manticore was startled and fell on its back," Hurry we have to get away from the manticore! Quickly, follow me!"
They ran through the forest, the manticore trailing behind them snarling with fury. They finally made it to the cave having lost the manticore far behind. " who are you?" jasey asked the mysterious mare,"my name is rainbow dash." The stranger told Jasey. " nice to meet you rainbow dash." Jasey said,"but why are you in this forest all alone?" dash frowned at this," I was actually looking for a friends of mine, Zecora was her name, I couldn't find her so I wen looking in he forest." Jasey looked at the entrance to the cave,"we better go in deeper if we don't want that thing to hear us." " agreed" dash responded.
As they were walking deeper into the cave, they say light as if a fire was lit " Here is my home, rainbow dash." Jasey said proudly ," Well… it certainly is homey." She said looking around at the strangely made shelves," Well, I think we could use some sleep after what has happened today, what do you think?" "I agree, but first, whats your name?" dash asks," My same is Jasey Moore, but you can call me Jasey!"Jasey responded excitedly,"thanks, Jasey for saving me from that manticore." "you can sleep on the bed," Jasey pointed to a mat of hay,"ill sleep on the floor." "thanks… goodnight."dash responded " g'night…" and Jasey slowly fell asleep, unknowing of what she is to see in her dreams...
