The slow and hungry rumble of thunder shook the window of the White Castle while a hooded figure laid, sprawled over his bed with his hands tucked behind his head. "One," he muttered and waited before turning over onto his side, "Two," The number was cut off as he flinched as a flash of dry lightening tore pass his sight on the window, he shuddered. "Three," and so on until another groan of sound drummed and rippled through the castle's walls and rolled over the towers just above him.
"Knock knock, Kiddo." came a voice as the light and more hushed voices accompanied by soft shuffling footsteps spilled over and into the nobody's quiet bed chambers. "You awake, Roxas?" The name made the boy stiffen, relax, and shift into a lazy sitting position.
"More or less," a drowsy blond removed his hood and swung his legs over the side of his mattresses while yawning and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. With another soft gasp, Roxas finally looked up at his visitor with a stupid sleep drunken grin, " Hey, Carrot top..." he chuckled and stood to lazily stretch out before flopping back down.
"Hey Captain Bed head," The taller male scoffed and stifled a obvious snicker. Little ass was always cocky when he woke up. Sighing the visitor pulled his cowl back to reveal soaked crimson locks plastered to his tan cheekbones.
Scooting over to allow the redhead a seat, the boy glanced awkwardly over to the man, "Axel, do you think it is silly to still be afraid of storms?" Roxas sniffled briefly, looking up at the redhead before leaning on the other's drenched coat arm and shivering at his own stupidity.
"Hm?" The question caught Axel's attention vaguely as he gazed down at the blond for a while longer before answering with a light, " No," and drew his friend closer as another crash of thunder and crack of lightening illuminated their figures. " Hey Axel?" A moment of silence passed over the two.
"Yeah, Roxy?" He murmured back, staring out the glass watching the rain wash over it, leaving streaks of trickling streams of water over the surface. Another awkward silenced fell over the boys as Axel waited with a hard frown on his face.
" I think I like the rain though," He smiled and tugged at one of Axel's dripping red locks, making the redhead chuckled and kiss the top of the teen's head.
" Yeah me too."
