I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus
Summary: Set in the future. Klaine. AU.
Twas the night before Christmas and I, Toronto James Hummel-Anderson, was awake. But only because I heard a noise from downstairs and am hoping that it's Santa Claus. I'm debating whether or not to go and investigate, when I hear another noise. I shoot out of bed and out my bedroom door before I can talk myself out of it.
I stand at the top of the stairs and try to peek into the living room, but I can't see anything, so I quietly go down the stairs about halfway to peek again, and this time I find what I'm looking for.
Standing in front of the fireplace is Santa, with a big smile on his face, but I'm confused as I find dad standing with him. I stand there watching them for a minute in complete shock, how does dad know Santa, and does daddy know Santa too.
I cover my mouth in shock when I see dad leaning forward and kissing! Santa. What would daddy think? I don't know much, seeing as I'm only 6, but I do know how jealous daddy gets when dad just talks to another guy, but kissing. I watch them for a little while longer to see how far dad is going to go, ready to go get daddy if it gets out of control. I watch as Santa leans in to whisper something into dad's ear and watch as dad turns bright red a few seconds later. Then dad tugs on Santa's beard and I smile as Santa lets out a ho ho ho as dad giggles.
I stay there for a few more minutes to see if they do anything else, but soon Santa gets busy putting the presents under the tree, so I reluctantly go back to my room.
The next morning I wake up with Santa and dad on the brain but I quickly forget about it as I also remember the presents. I run into dad and daddy's room, where I climb on and proceed to jump on them yelling. "It's Christmas! Wake up! Presents!"
They smile as they wake up and look at me. Daddy laughs as he tackles me to the bed and starts to tickle me. "It's Christmas? Well why didn't you say so? Where's my present?"
"Downstairs!" I yell through my laughter.
"What time is it?" Dad asks yawning.
"5." Daddy answers laughing.
Dad groans as he pushes daddy aside to get to me. "You little bugger. You just had to get your love for Christmas from your daddy didn't you?" He asks smiling.
"Yes! Now can we go open presents now?"
Daddy laughs as he stretches. "We'll meet you down there."
"Don't take too long!" I yell as I'm already halfway down the hall.
"That kid is going to be the death of me." Kurt laughs.
"Merry Christmas." Blaine smiles leaning in for a kiss.
"Merry Christmas, Santa." Kurt smirks as he closes the distance between them.
Their interrupted a few minutes later when they hear Toronto yelling at them from downstairs. "Come on! You guys always take forever!"
Kurt and Blaine laugh as they head downstairs to open presents with their son.
Later on that day all of their friends, the previous New Directions, a few of the Warblers and of course Burt and Carol is there to visit.
In the middle of dinner I remember what happened last night and decide to bring it up to see if anybody can explain it to me. "I saw daddy kissing Santa Claus last night."
I watch as dad and daddy become red as grandpa spits out his food, while everybody else starts laughing, and of course Uncle Puck yells something I don't understand; only making me more confused. "Get some Hummel!"
Authors Note: I was listening to I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus in the car today and this popped into my head. I just thought I would spread a little holiday cheer with my story. I hope you liked it. Merry Christmas.
