Summary: Caroline's thoughts about Klaus. Super short one-shot.
Klaus was fire, he burned hot and he destroyed everywhere he went leaving only a trail of ash in his wake. He was also burned bright, in ways that he didn't show everyone but he showed that side of himself to Caroline. Caroline was the moth, the moth who was attracted to the flame, despite the fact that unlike the normal moth she knew that the flame was dangerous. She knew that a slight change in the direction of the wind could lead not only to her death but the death of all those she cared about. Yet she still found herself drawn to him, drawn his light, heat and danger even as she feared being burned.
