A long, long time ago a large ruby was cast off into the ocean never to be seen again. This ruby held the power to destroy the earth by bringing death and destruction down upon it. The crowd that gathered as the ruby sank down to the ocean floor were all the same, they were all witches and wizards. A few smiled as they thought about the fact that no Muggle or evil wizard would ever get their foul hands upon it. Soon most everyone forgot about the ruby as it still sank deeper and deeper into the depths.
But as it finally dropped onto the bottom with a thud after the many years, a few people still remembered...they still feared the ruby and it's destructive powers. It was capable of almost any destruction, and it did not just make a soft thud...no, it created a small tremor that ran through Great Britain. Luckily, it would never hit the ocean floor again as all underwater life felt it's awesome power and stayed away. The Ruby of Hogwarts would never again bring fear upon humans or animals. It would stay down in the ocean...right?

"It could happen though, am I correct?" Felicia Jerry grinned flicking her blonde hair back. "The Ruby of Hogwarts could still be found, right?"
"Yes, Felicia, it could but it is highly unethical," Kerry Moore replied, she flicked through the "history" book. "Oh, wouldn't you just love to me a real witch!"
"I know, it would be sensational, what if we had magic hidden somewhere inside us? Wouldn't that be wonderful!" Felicia muttered. She was full of unusual ideas that just couldn't be kept inside her small brain.
"That is highly unlikely, Felicia! I mean we may be only ten–" Kerry began before being cut off.
"In the eighth grade, don't forget!" Felicia grinned showing off her pearly whites.
"Yes, ten in the eighth grade...but I doubt that tomorrow you will receive a letter so that you can attend Hogwarts," Kerry said shaking her head. "No matter, it was just another of your silly ideas."
"I will be a witch! I know it, just because your birthday is the day after mine doesn't mean you won't be either! We might even get our letters on the same day! Oh! I just can't wait!"
"Felicia, stop being silly, we won't become witches. We are mere Muggles," Kerry muttered shaking her head again. Felicia's silly ideas were starting to get annoying lately.
"We are not Muggles and I'll prove it to you!" Felicia snapped, she stormed out of the library doors and down the steps to the side walk. "We are mere Muggles, heh! Show's what she knows!" Huffing and puffing, Felicia finally arrived at her front door. She slammed it open and stormed into the kitchen.
"Felicia...dear? Is everything okay?" Mrs. Jerry asked walking from the garden into the kitchen.
"It's Kerry! She doesn't believe me, she thinks we are just Muggles!" Felicia whined.
"Oh...this is about your silly ideas..." Mrs. Jerry muttered. "I'm not sitting through it this time."
