Hey everyone. This story was written for September Writing Club's Sophie's Shelf, September Event: Sewing 101, and September Event: Back to School on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Sophie's Shelf I used the Trio Era Fem/Slash pairing 14. Cedric/Viktor. For Sewing 101 I used the prompt set of (setting) Great Hall, (action) kissing, and (restriction) only trio era characters. For Back to School I used the prompt of 16. (character) Cedric Diggory. No warnings for this story it's more fluffier than the other ones I've put out tonight. I hope you all enjoy Breakfast Kisses.
Cedric felt eyes on him from across the Great Hall. He didn't know who was watching him but he did know someone was. Watching him that is. He raised his eyes from his plate of bacon and eggs that he was currently eating and scanned the tables. It was hard to discern who was looking and who was chatting with someone at a different table.
"Don't look now," came the voice of one of the younger students, Susan Bones, "but the Viktor Krum has been staring over at our table for almost a half hour now." She brushed her long strawberry blonde hair over her shoulder. "Do you think he's looking at me?"
"I don't know, Susan," I told her doing exactly what she told me not to do. Looking over at the table where the Drumstrang students were all sitting I could see that the Seeker for Bulgaria was indeed looking over at the table.
A smile spread across the Bulgarian's face as Cedric caught his eye. Viktor said something to his friends and then got up from his seat at the table.
"Where do think he's going?" he heard someone whisper nearby.
"I think he's coming over this way," came another excited whisper.
"He is," squealed one of the younger girls.
"May I sit?" came the accent voice of the world famous Seeker from behind Cedric.
"Sure," Cedric told him sliding over to make room of the new comer.
"I'm Viktor," the other boy said holding his hand out to Cedric to shake.
Hearing a whole bunch of squeals as he took Viktor's hands and shook he replied, "I'm Cedric Diggory," he told the other boy with a charming smile. He didn't know why he always felt the need to charm everyone. It just seemed to happen. The annoying part was this time it elicited a squeal of excitement from all the girls nearby.
"I know," was the reply as Viktor looked over at his friends who seemed to be nodding about something.
"Oh," squealed Susan pointing over Cedric's head, "this should be interesting. You do know that you two do have to kiss now."
"Wha..." was the only thing that Cedric could get out before Viktor Krum's lips covered his own.
His eyes widening in shock all Cedric could think is that he wouldn't have suspected Krum's lips were this soft. A few minutes passed before Viktor broke the kiss. Leaving Cedric both flushed and breathless as Viktor walked off to his classes.
