In the park, the Sailor Scouts are battling a new enemy. The powers of the Inner Scouts are too weak. As Sailor Moon was being pulled towards the monster, Tuxedo Mask attacks and drove the monster's attention towards him. He attacks again but the monster dodges it. The Outer Scouts comes and joins in the fight. The Outer Scouts combined attack knocks the monster on the ground. All the scouts attack at once and the monster is vanquished. They were all relieved. At a near-by tree, a shadow watches over them. The next day, the Inner Scouts gathered at Rei's temple. They were discussing where that monster had come from. They all wondered if there is a new enemy had come to take over the universe. Haruka and Michiru are walking down the street. A young girl carrying books bumps into Haruka; all the girl's books fell to the ground. As Michiru and Haruka help pick up her books, they sense an unusual aura coming from the girl. The girl then walks off saying thank you with a smile. An uneasiness expression shows on Haruka's and Michiru's faces. At Serina's house, Luna was watching television. A special news report comes up..."A monster is sited downtown. Many people are injured and are taken as prisoners. Police had no luck into killing the monster with all their weaponry." ... Luna called out to Serina to contact the others that there is a monster on the loose. At the scene, people are tied up by thorny vines with their foreheads glowing with a symbol. All the Sailor Scouts attacks the monster all at once and it is destroyed. The Outer Scouts senses that unusual power again but cannot pinpoint where it is coming from. Sailor Moon asks the Outer Scouts what is wrong. Sailor Uranus tells Sailor Moon that there is nothing that she needs to worry about; she then pats Sailor Moon on the head. A figure watches over the scouts on top of a building, and then disappears. The vines on the people started to disappear along with the symbol on their foreheads. None of the people remembered what had happened to them during the monster attack.
