Silent Wonderland

"So far, things have been going OK for me." Téa told Ryou, who was sitting next to her right on the right on the park bench. Now everything was so placid; everything finally seemed well.
"Same goes for me as well." Ryou sighed, as if letting out long and trapped feelings. "It's hard to believe that's its been two months, though…I no longer have to worry about anything anymore – which is hard to imagine on my sake." He chuckled somewhat, his eyes brightening and the corners of his mouth going upward to form a smile.
Téa liked observing Ryou. Before all the craziness had ended, he was an enigma wrapped in one kind and caring package. Now the siege that had taken its toll on Ryou's well-being was gone, no longer visible on the face of the Earth.
"I'm glad, Ryou." She replied, feeling better that she had said it.
Ryou paused for a second, unsure of what to say next. Then he got an idea of what to do next. He leaned forward, and slightly kissed Téa on the lips. He quickly pulled back, turning red in the face from embarrassment.
"Oh, umm…sorry about that...spur of the moment." Ryou glanced away, apologizing.
"Oh, no, it's OK!" Téa replied. "I like it when you kiss me." The re-embodiment stated with sincerity, somewhat blushing herself.
Ryou looked at Sydney out of the corner of his eye. "R-really?"
"Yeah!" Téa scooched over a bit, and hugged him, proving her point and showing him affection at the same time.
"You don't have to be shy around me…I love you." She whispered serenely.
"W-wow. You-you do?" Ryou stammered, shocked from this act of kindness.
"I do."
Ryou smiled again, absolutely beaming from her choice of words. He, in turn, embraced Téa and held her close to his own body, stroking her back in a loving way.
"I love you, too." He said, meaning every word that came out of his mouth.
With no turmoil filled thoughts to attack their psyches, Ryou and Téa's minds, along with their forms, were now at eternal peace.
