Kain before the Soul Reaver
Chapter 1
Kain stood on the roof of the church letting the gentle breeze blow through his long, white hair. He looked downward to a group of fat humans talking about their pathetic daily lives.
He sighed and jumped of the roof, crushing an unobservant human. The other two humans screamed. Kain lazily threw his long sword and slashed both humans in the throat. He walked over to them and drank their blood. Kain was a vampire, and a pretty damn strong one too. Kain sighed, "These humans are weak. I am tired of killing town's folk. The guards of this blasted city are brittle and stupid, I need a stronger opponent."
The doors of the church opened, and Kain leaped to the roof again. Two holy men walked from the church, deep in conversation. The old bishop walked behind the two of them. " More dead bodies discovered in the church. The blood sucked out of 'em". Said one of the holy men.
"Really? That's odd, I thought vampires hated churches," Said the other. The Bishop froze and stared.
"Hey! What's wrong?" asked the first holy man, following the Bishops gaze. "Did you see a big rat or some- BLOODY HELL!" yelled the man, spotting the bodies.
"What did you…?" The man never finished his sentence, as Kain had become EXTREMLY bored and had attacked. Kain slit the man's thin neck, bathing the earth in crimson blood. Kain put his left hand inside the gash, and with little effort tore out the man's spinal cord.
"DIE UNHOLY CREATURE!" Yelled the other man, throwing a cross at the vampire.
"That is pathetic!" Yelled Kain, slicing upward with his sword, slicing the cross in half. The man stared. "Now taste death!" Shouted Kain to the bewildered man, stuffing the other man's spinal cord down the powerless man's throat.
The man choked and was barely able to udder his final words. "You… son… of… a… BITCH!" Kain scowled, and stuffed his sword down the man's throat as well.
"Hmmm… that was kind of fun. Now to take care of the bishop!" said Kain heading to the church, where the Bishop had run to minutes ago. "Time to test my skills."
AHHHH! SUCH A SHORT CHAPTER! Ohhh well… The next chapter is a HUGE boss fight with a telepathic Bishop. Wait till then!
