How y'all doing people. I have so many ideas lately yet I had to cancel some of them. This is like me training for my cartoonist future that I want to live through. Despite for story writing, I hate writing long chapter but I have to do this for you readers. I love y'all and appreciate for y'all to support me. Anyway the movie Charlie and the Chocolate factory is my childhood movie and I like the 2005 version more better than the old one. Yet it is hilarious and strange. Charlie Bucket and Mike Teavee are my favorite characters and so a few days ago I thought, "why not write a fanfic about them?" This is a Charlie X Mike fanfic, but if you don't like this story well, YOU'RE LOST! I don't care! This story of the movie would be different in later chapters like an alternate version because of the two boys' relationship.
Plus, I have to get my objects straight and I for to keep my promise of not giving up on creativity. So enjoy the first chapter and please leave a review. Stay fresh. I don't own Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film, it belongs to Tim Burton.

Sweet and Sour!
Chapter 1 - Candy Land Introduce.
...
The 1st of February. The gates will open in 20 minutes. The day the poor 11 year old boy of the Bucket family gets to visit the factory. It seems to be exciting, but at the same time...weird. Charlie Bucket was one of the other four winners of the golden ticket. A tall factory had stood before them as the kids were allowed to bring one family member. The cold wind blows while the snow falls from the grey skies. The world is going crazy as Silly Woka's factory was being broadcasted all over the world. The family all stared at one another before they turned to the gates. Unlike Charlie, the four kids happened to be spoiled rotten. He started to list down their names.
Augustus Gloop, the first winner of the golden ticket. The boy happens to be the fan of chocolate and has strong love of eating them. Charlie has heard of many German people are nice and polite, but this chubby kid here doesn't seem so nice. He seems to be feather selfish and greedy, never gives a rest of eating chocolate. Charlie held back his chuckle when he thought about Grandpa George's joke about chubby people being boars.
Next one is Veruca Salt. The girl from England who claims to be elegant and polite, but in reality happens to be a spoiled brat who will stop at nothing to get her way. Will this girl ever learn that she can't always have her way in life? But her parents keep on spoiling her too much. Her father has got her nut workers search for the ticket for Pete's sake! And like Grandpa Joe said to Charlie; No good will ever come by spoiling a child.
Violet Beauregard, the girl of all championships, and most of all gum chewing. Her jaws were moving fast while chewing her gum as if she's talking to herself.
And finally, Mike Teavee. The boy who is an expert of scientific facts and video games. But unlike all children, this boy seems to be like an adult on the inside such as having hatred over sweets. If he hates candy then why did he come to the factory? However, there is something about him that interests Charlie as he can't put a finger on it.
"Daddy, I want to go in!" Veruca said to her father.
"Its only 9:59, sweetheart." He said.
"Make time to faster!" Does this girl have no patience?
"Do you think Mr. Wonka will recognize you?" Charlie asked his grandfather.
"Hard to say, it's been years." Grandpa Now replied. He has been one of Mr Wonka's former workers.
"Eyes on the prize Violet. Eyes on the prize." Miss Beauregard said to her daughter who nods in response.
The gates then open and allowed the kids in as they ran through the worldwide sparkling blanket of snow.
"Dear guests, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to my humble factory!" Willy Wonka's voice announced in the speakers. "And who am I? Well...?"
The front factory doors opened, revealing wierd dolls preparing a welcome song.
"Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka. The amazing chocloteer!" The dolls sang cheerfully and it does seem creepy while some kids stared on with nervousness and curiosity except for the one who eats a chocolate bar in his hand along with his mother as they stared on in amusment. The song goes on until Mr Wonka's throne appeared in the background, but there is no owner. "Willy Wonka, here he iiiiissss!"
Until then the fireworks explode while the dolls all slow down and melted, killing their power energy.
"Dosen't this idiot even know the simple physical laws?" Mike thought to himself.
"Wasn't that fantastic?" The man applauded with glee. "I was worried that it would get a little dodgy in the middle part but that finale...Wow!" Mr Willy Wonka himself is rather a lively and a strange man of course with short hair that reach over his shoulders along with a large top hat and dark glasses. Why would anyone want to wear them in winter time?
"Only someone who doesn't want people to see their eyes." Charlie thought.
"Who are you?" Violet asked.
"He's Willy Wonka! " Grandpa Joe smiled.
"Really?" Charlie inquired.
The rest of the gang stared on with confused looks, especially Mr Salt who look like he ate something sour.
"Good morning starshine. The earth says 'hello'." Mr Wonka gives them a ludicrous answer. Charlie was starting to fear for this man's sanity.
This situation seems to be more awkward before Mr Wonka pulled out his cards. "Dear guests, Greetings! Welcome to the factory. I shake you warmly by the hand." He extended his hand briefly, but frowned upon realizing that he wasn't supposed to read that part. "My name is Willy Wonka."
"Then shouldn't you be up there?" Veruca asked the chocolate genius as she pointed at the throne which seemed to survive amid the decay.
"Well I very well can't watch the show from up there now can I, little girl?" Mr Wonka replied.
Only Grandpa Joe seems to know him at first but the chocolate genius doesn't seem proud to see him. He does seem like he's planning something behind the "mask" as if he doesn't care what dangers await while he tours through to the massive warm hallway since Mr Wonka's 'workers' can't stand the cold. The group all unzip and drop their coats and jackets anywhere they place them at. As Charlie place his jacket down, he then noticed the Teavee boy staring at him after he threw his black jacket. The two boys then stare at each other before Mike turns away. That was strange. Charlie suddenly felt a bit warm inside as he cheeks turned pink. Could he be...- No, that's ridiculous!
The kids introduced themselves to Mr Wonka while the man doesn't seem to care as if he wanted to get people who disturb him out of the way.
Violet was the first who hugged the factory owner which startled him. "Mr Wonka, I'm Violet Beauregard!" she smiles while smacking on her gum.
"Oh, I don't care." Mr Wonka uttered.
Veruca held back her chuckle as the gum chewing champion continued. "Well you should care. Because I'm the girl who's gonna win the spechil prize at the end." Ugh, again with the bragging.
"If a bed in a psychiatric clinic is the spechil prize." Mike thought.
"Well you do seem confident, and confident is key." Mr Wonka said in a polite tone.
Violet smiled as if she won the whole world as she turns to her mother.
Veruca then decided to introduce herself. The girl then walks in front of the chocolateer. "I'm Veruca Salt. It's very nice to meet you, sir." She did a curtsy with a lovely smile.
"I always thought that a vurruca would be a wort you got on the bottom of your foot. Ha." Mr Wonka replied.
Charlie thought that this man has great sense of humor and that he may use it to humiliate people. Well, this girl deserves it. The Salt girl may be spoiled, but she is still a lady.
Augustus then got in front of Veruca. He was large as a mountain. "I'm Augustus Gloop. I love your chocolate!" Do Germans have to be so rude?
"I can see that. So do I. I never expected to have so much in common." Boy, this chocolate genius sure is a humorous man.
Mr Wonka then stopped then turns around to face Mike strictly. "You. You're Mike Teavee. You're the little devil who cracked the system." His eyes were filled with hatred, and the technology fanatic doesn't seem to show any warm expressions for the candy maker either.
Mr Wonka then turned to Charlie and smiled. "And you. Well, you're lucky to be here, aren't you?" He said with friendliness.
Charlie couldn't help but smile upon his warm comment, feeling comfortable being here.
Mr Wonka then turned to the adults. "And the rest of you must be their-" Mr Wonka froze as he awkwardly opens and closes his mouth.
"Parents." Mr Salt answered after a ridiculous length of time.
"Yeah. Moms and Dads." Wonka then had a perplex look on his face, as if he's suffering some traumatic dementia. "Dad? Papa?"
Again, another awkward moment. Mr Wonka then have another trademark anxious laughter as he returned to reality. "Okay then...let's get a move on." The rest of the group then followed behind him as they walk forward.
The Bucket boy then turned to his grandfather who grins at him.
"I couldn't believe in all my years that you're here with me." Joe said.
"Me too grandpa." The young Bucket said. "But I'm unsure of the prize at the end or what bad events could occur to us."
"Charlie my dear boy, the only person I trust around here is you." Joe replied. "I mean take a look at this television kid." They turned to Mr Teavee's son who was staring towards the door with a boredom expression. "Even though he tends to act like a show off he is unsure about this place and would hide it under the mask of his smart attitude of course."
The elderly Bucket could be right. "But you haven't. And as long as you keep staying true to your feelings, everything will be okay."
Charlie smiled, satisfied with his grandfather's advice.
Miss Gloop wasn't happy of her son's gluttonous feelings on junk food that caused him to become one size large than before since he was having a hard time trying to take off his outdoor coat earlier. "Sweetie you should try going on a diet and exercise for a while." She told him calmly.
"But how will I be able to have chocolate while doing so mother?" The German kid asked with his mouthful of chocolate while disagreeing.
Violet and Veruca do announce each other to make be friends, but the two female opponents in locked arms could only then away and show expressions of, "Ughh! Why do I want to be her!" Yep, they are really gonna have a 'great' friendship.
Speaking if that, Charlie meanwhile wanted to know what it's like to be friends since nobody at his school wanted to hang out with a 'Worthless Kid'. He would always be making fun of by other kids while he and his family have to live a broken life with nothing but cabbage soup to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday.
Yes, Charlie Bucket does want to have a friend.
He doubt if it'll be easy if those other winners will ever be. Even the Teavee boy who seem rather a show off to befriend, though Charlie admits to himself that he does want to be. Could be try? Maybe so, later, or not? Charlie snaps himself off of why would his attention would be attracted by Mike. He doesn't want to bother him or else it could make things worse.
The group were walking towards the door which happens to be...tiny?! So tiny, even an infant can't fit through. Charlie was confused if Willy Wonka would wants anyone to squeeze through there. It will be difficult. But luckily Mr Wonka revealed to the group that the dead end walls happen to be huge doors leading towards the world made of sweets. Most of the group all stared on with amazement, especially Augustus who was so amused with hunger that he dropped his chocolate bar on the ground. He would be gobbling up everything like Hansel and Gretel. Candy cane trees, lollipop flowers, Marshmallow mushrooms and chocolate rivers. Everything is all candy land.
"Now do be careful dear children." Mr Wonka warned. "Don't get over head of overexcited. Just keep very calm."
"This place is beautiful." Charlie replied.
"Oh yes. This place is beautiful." Mr Wonka smiled.
Mike rolled his eyes in disbelief. "As if he would rather use effects of a computer to impress us." He mumbled as if he WANTED anyone to hear him. Of course Charlie can and he felt a bit irritated even though he has nothing to do with the pre teen. He decided to pay his attention back to Mr Wonka as he continued his speech.
"Every drop of this river is not melted chocolate of the finest quality. The waterfall is most important; mixes the chocolate, churns it up. By the way, no other factory in the world mixes it's chocolate by waterfall. And you can take that to the bank."
As the group walked down the hill, Mr Wonka called out to them. "People!" He then pointed to several large tubes. "Those pipes suck up the chocolate. And carried it away all over the factory." The tubes then lowered down to collect the chocolate river.
"And do you like my meadow. Try some of my grass. Please have a bite, please do. It's so delectable and darn good-looking."
"You can eat the grass?" Charlie questioned.
"Of course you can. Everything here in this room is eatable. Even I'm eatable. But that is called 'cannibalism' my dear children and that fact frowned upon in most societies." He explained with happiness and lively. "So, enjoy! Go on, scoot scoot."
The kids and their parents rush off around the room filled with excitement to enjoy the room of garment. Mr Salt looks at the chocolate genius with a shock expression for a moment as if Mr Wonka is a weird creature. It is hard to say what was he thinking. The man then goes off to explore the forest of sweets.
Charlie could feel his tummy growling since he felt as if cabbage is the only dish he ever eat in years. Charlie looked around while searching for any ration until he came across the candy apple tree. "Huh, only one left?" The boy whispered in confusion as there was nothing but one apple hanging on the tree. He reached out his hand to grab-
SNAP!
A hand already swiped the candy apple off the branch as it turned out if was Violet. The Beauregard girl takes out her gum and sticks it...behind her ear? Eww. Why would anyone want to do that? Charlie decides to pop out a question.
"Why don't you start a new piece instead of holding onto it?"
Violet scoffed. "Because then I would come become a loser instead of a champion like you." She rudely respond before she takes a bite out of the apple. Charlie was taken aback by her answer. How dare she would have the gall to talk to him like that?! Some kids with 'great lives' just don't have any good manners.
But Charlie, being a calming boy he is, decides to not let the blonde get to him. With no apples left Charlie decided to venture forth the candy realm while admiring it's sweet beauty.
He then sat on one of the soft colorful mushrooms and stared at the chocolate waterfall. Charlie is broken alright, but also lonely. Like a stray puppy for the boy in rags. If only there's one kid who would want to befriend with..., just one-
"Son, please!" Mr Teavee's voice was heard from short distant. He caught his son kicking and smashing on the candy pumpkins with fury.
"Dad, he said enjoy!" Mike spoke with venom evilness in his tone. Gosh, it's like a miserable adult trapped inside a child's body. It does seem awfully sad to live a childhood with no normal fun. Charlie does feel sorry for the boy. Could Mike could be ill or something? The argument between the Teavee father and son goes on.
"Mike you've been spending too much time with games and stuff and you have to make a social friendship with the other kids." Mr Teavee told him.
"Daaad, what's the point anyway. Just because I already know those freaks' names and know what they do doesn't mean it's necessary that I have to communicate with them." Mike said.
"Now Mike you need to be polite and I insist that you must get in touch with them right now!" Mr Teavee demand.
"Pthh! Yeah right. Those orders of your will never work on me." Mike crossed his arms. Man is he one stubborn kid?
"Mike come on!" His father pleaded. Mike sighed with irritation and in defeat as he rolled his eyes.
"Alright! If it makes you happy!" He looked around and spotted Charlie sitting in the distant. "I'll go communicate with that skinny boy right there." He said before he walked over toward Charlie. The Bucket boy spotted a small tea cup shaped marshmallow before he picks it off the stem and munched on it.
He then felt a tap on his back before Charlie swallowed the marshmallow. He turned around and felt a skipping beat of his heart while staring up at Mike who looks at him with the expression of boredom as if he's waiting for Charlie to say something. And he did said something.
"Um hi...," The young Bucket said.
"So you must be the lucky winner, huh?" Mike asked sounding like he doesn't care.
"Yeah, just like you are." Charlie nodded.
"The name's Mike Teavee. I didn't win by luck, just the approach of my scientific intelligence." Mike replied.
"I'm Charlie Bucket. It's nice to meet you." Charlie said.
"Kind of a funny name. Though I have never heard any information about you on the net." Mike said.
"Could you be talking about fishing when mentioning a "net"? I have been taught his to catch a fish when I was 6 or something." Charlie said.
Mike laughed at the boy's sentence. "You are a bucket, Bucket. But what I meant was on a computer. Haven't you heard anything about PCs or something."
"Oh. No, I never had a computer at home." Charlie shook his head sadly. "But you do seem rather smart, Mike."
"You know you're not bad at all, Bucket." Mike said.
"Thanks...," Charlie whispered until he noticed that Mike had already went off somewhere. The Bucket boy sighed as he went back to munching on his marshmallow cup. He was hoping if he would be able to know Mike more better to create their friendship. And oh, how the boy had longed for it.
"Daddy, look over there!" He heard Veruca's voice calling out. "It's a little person!" The rest of the group rush off to see what Veruca had saw. And it turns out that she was right. There was a small man working by the waterfall. Turns out that there's more than one. All of them happen to be like exact replicas. Small, Lively, and...a lot more useful.
"Are they're real people." Mike asked.
"Of course they are. They're Oompa-Loompas." Mr Wonka nodded. "All of them directed from Loompa Land."
"Loompa Land? That place doesn't exist." Mr Teavee replied with doubtfully.
"Excuse me?!" Mr Wonka fiercely respond.
"Mr Wonka I teach geography for the school and I am to say-"
"Then you should learn and know how horrible that place it is!" Mr Wonka sternly replied. The chocolate genius then tell the group of how he found the oompa loompas at the jungle and that they cherish the cocoa bean then invites them to live at the factory with him as his workers.
"Don't get me wrong but they all look like creepy little copies anyway." Mike grumbled.
"Mike, I'm sure that Mr Wonka isn't all that weird." Charlie said.
"Pffh, I doubt so." Mike crossed his arms. "I believe weirdos when I see one."
"Augustus my son, this is not a right deed to do?!" Mrs Gloop yelled to her son who was now drinking the chocolate river. Charlie could think that nobody would be eating Wonka's for several months after this. Who knew where that glutton's hands been.
"Hey, little boy!" Mr Wonka shouted. "My chocolate river must never be touched by human hands!" But Augustus didn't listen to him as he kept drinking the pool. But suddenly..., SPLASH!
The boy screamed as he fell into the chocolate pool when he reached his hand out too far as the others watched on with shock while horror has filled Mrs Gloop. Mr Wonka only stared on with apathy.
"I think he's gonna drown." Violet said.
"Yep. Such an original event." Veruca cynically replied.
"Oh dear!" Grandpa Joe thought with empathy.
"No! He'll die if he drowned!" Mrs Gloop screamed. "He doesn't know how to swim! Don't just stand there, please save him!"
The big tube comes in and dips into the chocolate river then starts to suck up the chocolate as the whirlpool began to form below it, pulling Augustus along with the chocolate.
"Augustus come back!" Mrs Gloop shouted. However it was no use. The swirl spins him around and around while pulling him into the pipe.
"There he goes." Violet said.
"What a big pipe." Mr Salt mused.
The pipe has sucked up the German boy inside pulling him upwards but suddenly stopped and blocks all the chocolate.
"I don't think he'll fit." Charlie said.
"He's clogged the whole pipe." Mr Teavee said.
Augustus stared down with horror and regret while being trapped inside the pipe. The group only stood while complaining the disaster like nothing bad has happened. Mr Wonka only looks on in amusement. Soon music was heard as the Oompa Loompas all started humming in rhythm.
"I believe those little guys are gonna treat us a little song." Mr Wonka smiled. "It is an occasion spechil for them that don't have a new audience there in such times."
The Oompa Loompas all gathered up in their spots before they began to preform.
"Augustus Gloop. Augustus Gloop. The great big greedy nincompoop. Augustus Gloop, so big and vile. So greedy, foul, and infantile. Come on we cried, the time is right! To send him shooting up the pipe!"
Each Oompa Loompas all singed each with squeaky or low pitched voices as they all harmonize.
"But don't dear children be alarmed. Augustus Gloop will not be harmed! Augustus Gloop will not be harmed!"
Charlie was relieved since they won't let Augustus get harmed. The Oompa Loompas we're diving into the chocolate river. Why are they taking so long to free the German boy? He could run out of oxygen. Are they celebrating or something?
Soon as the song was over, Augustus was instantly shot all the way up the pipe and was carried away out of the room.
Mr Wonka applauded. "Aren't they wonderful or what?" He said with a light cheerful tone.
"You could say so." Mr Salt respond.
"Wait a second. I thought they can't talk." Joe said.
"They are pretty magnificent students." The chocolate genius smiled.
"As if they knew what will happen." Mike said with no interest at all.
"Oh, poppycock!" Mr Wonka rolled his eyes while stepping down the stairs.
The German mother filled with worried decided to ask. "There is my son in there! Where is the pipe going?!"
"I believe that pipe will be sent to the Fudge room where strawberry chocolate coated fudge bars are created." Mr Wonka explained.
Mrs Gloop was filled with horror as she asked the chocolateer with sadness in her tone. "Then..., you will transform him into a strawberry chocolate fudge...and they will sell him to the kilos all over the world?!"
Mr Wonka frowned upon that thought. "No! I won't allow that." He shook his head. "The taste would be horrible. I mean, Augustus chocolate coated Gloop? Yuck! Nobody would want that." The king of the factory then called out to one of the Oompa Loompas. "I want you to take Mrs Gloop to the Fudge room and help her find her son. Just take a long stick and start poking the mixing container."
Soon, the Oompa Loompa escorted the German mother out of the room heading towards the Fudge room while leaving the others behind. Guess it serves her son right for his gluttonous behavior.
Charlie was confused at why was Augustus's name would be in the song. He then started to carefully ask the chocolate genius. "Mr Wonka, why would Augustus's name was in the Oompa Loompa song? At least if-"
"Improvisation is part of us. Anyone can make that." Mr Wonka explained.
"Well, what's with them dancing anyway?" Mike asked.
"I just told you that they're magnificent students. They can do anything as soon as possible." He then turned to Violet. "You little girl, say something. Anything."
"Chewing gum." The gum chewing champion answered.
Vuruca chuckled to herself while rolling her eyes. "Is that all she could say?"
"Chewing gum is really gross. Chewing gum I hate the most." Mr Wonka finished his rhyme. "See, exactly the same."
"Really?" Charlie mused.
"No it's not." Mike scoffed. "You might have copied it from the internet or something."
Mr Wonka frowned at the computer boy. "Don't you be babbling on me young man! I can't understand a word you're saying!" He said in a scolding tone. Charlie noticed a shocking expression on Mike's face as he was taken aback by Mr Wonka's impolite response. The chocolateer then return to his soft normal tone. "Now, shall we get going then?"
Charlie decided that he wanted to make more communication with the Teavee boy as he followed him behind while the others went by the river.
"You know Mike, maybe he did copied it from a thing you mentioned." The Bucket boy said.
"Thanks." Mike said with a small smile.
Charlie hoped that if he would make Mike a good friend to him during their trip.
To Be Continued!
Phew! Finally that's a wrap of the first chapter. More will be coming soon and I do need some ideas of yours from your reviews please. I love you all and stay cool. Peace out.
