I don't want anything to do with them. They think they know me. They see the outside.

They see my smile, it's all wrong.

They see my hair, so falsely happy. Pink. I hate that color. The color I was born with. What my name is.

I hate my name. I should not be given the name of something so beautiful. It's all a lie. I am not beautiful.

I am greedy, because I want MY Sasuke back.

I am envious, because Ino has everything I want, and everything I cannot have.

I have wrath, because I am a ninja, and that is how we are raised.

I am lustful, because I do not want to die a virgin, which I won't.

I have sloth, because I am slow and lazy and I don't want to do anything if it's not directly related to MY Sasuke.

I am gluttonous, because I eat ramen too much, and I don't care if it's with Naruto, he's not my friend.

I have pride, because I am ignorant, until today.

It's horrid. It's disgusting. I will change my life. It won't be that way anymore. I will not have to pretend that I'm something I'm not.

I met someone. He said he would help me, that man. He would help me fly. That's where I want to go. Into the skies and fly away.

It will be tonight. I've changed my clothes.

Black.

Chains.

I changed my hair, different than that insipid color. It's like my clothes. Like I am inside.

BLACK.

Closing in on me. My soul is swallowing me whole. I will change my name. It will be as if I never existed. Just like I wanted. I will reinvent myself, be myself.

Run away from my past, forever.

Tsunade read the last page.

'Poor girl.' She thought. Sakura Haruno ran away from her home two weeks ago. They found her body yesterday, along with her diary. The man's name was Deidara. He certainly helped her 'fly.' Fly two thousand feet from a giant clay bird right into the ground.

She died upon impact.

Poor Naruto, going to the forest to train, only to find her bloody, mangled corpse. Naruto, the only one to notice the change in Sakura. He tried to help her. He was too late.

Too late to save her from her fate.

Why she chose to go off with that missing nin? Who knows? Maybe he reminded her of Naruto. If only he could save her. Only if this didn't happen. Only if she had… someone.

"Tsunade…" a voice sounded from behind the door.

"Come in Jiraiya," a male ninja walked through the door with a worried look on his face.

"Did you find out what happened to her?"

"Yeah."

"What happened?"

She showed him the diary's last page.

"Oh my…"

Tsunade looked away. "I feel so guilty. I was her mentor. I should have known…"

She was silenced by a pair of arms wrapping around her waist. "Tsunade, it wasn't your fault."

"I know." She turned her face to his and pressed her lips against his cheek.
