AN: Okay, I just finished a day performance at school and preformed my monologue at Barnes and Noble. It was epic! We kicked ass! So, the writing crew in my head keeps effin up the first chapter to this new story I'm putting up. I've finally come to a conclusion to how this is going to start. The only problem is that Renesmee isn't totally developed in the books because she's two… so she may be different than the Nessie in your head. Sorry f I got your hopes up… But, I really hope you enjoy it! X30

She ran around the small, soft purple bedroom. The little girl knocked over her toys as she tried to escape the arms of a predator, her mother. The squeals echoed off the walls and chuckles soon joined them. A young, pale man leaned against the door watching as his wife and daughter ran around such a small place. Soon after the little girl yelped for about the fifteenth time, the man joined in the chase for his little girl. His velvet voice created a soft, hushed whisper that soothed his wife.

"Little girl… if you don't come over here the big bad wolf's going to get you!" And as if to answer the man's call, a large brown wolf trotted in. The little girl through herself at the wolf, "Wolfie! Come here boy!" The wolf shook his big head and plopped down on her bed.

The small girl cuddled against him and the man sat next them arms open to his wife. The wife's voice rang out like beautiful bells. It was story time, and the little girl was anxious to hear the fairytale of the night. "Once upon a time there was a queen…" And she started the little fairytale.

But, this was no ordinary fairytale. This little story had taken place centuries ago. The tale was blended into the fabrics of destiny, hope, love, desperation, and nightmares; always nightmares. But, the truth was still there. Forever this tale would live.

A young queen called upon her kingdom's finest. All the best. The dark knights of the moon, the deadly children of night, the mourning fairies, the mystical witches, the enchanting guardians, and those who serve (angels), even the devilish and scheming demons, but never would call to the darker, colder recesses of the hypnotic night. The queen refused to call to the nightmares, the cruelest and harshest of their kind. Nightmares were just that, terrible creatures dragged from hell. They caused the worst of the deaths. When the queen had turned from them, they grew angry and furious. They swore the death of her majesty.

The queen had known such a thing would happen, and that was the reason for calling the finest. They were to protect the princess who would be born on the 13th of Friday. And the greatest cast a spell for the young princess. Forever will she live, until the first drop of her blood has been spilt. And so began the hunt for the princess. The young princess Catherine would be hunted to the ends of the earth. And when the sun rose four hundred years later, a nightmare had finally succeeded in catching her. Although he was a nightmare, forbidden to love others, he had fallen in love with the princess. And had spared her only to haunt her and remind her of what was to come…

"Did the princess get her happily ever after, mommy?" And another soft, but hushed voice answered hers. As if it were on cue, the little girl let her eyelids close. The wife and husband backed out of the room watching their daughter and her future husband sleep.

"Only time will tell, my love."

AN: I absolutely love this chapter's beginning. Go ahead and hate it, but you have to admit, that was so much better than any other first chapter I have ever written! Woo! I hope you enjoyed! X3
