Gosh, this chapter is ridiculously short! It's mainly just some idea that I got some time ago and I haven't gotten around to posting, so don't mind if this story seems to take a bit longer to update. D Reviews?

Rain fell like grey, velvet sheets from the overcast sky. Kanda Yuu stared out of her bedroom window, her sprits as damp as the soil outside surely was. She sighed deeply. That was freaking embarrassing. Contemplating what had happened, she subconsciously ran her hand over her Katana, Mugen. She sighed again as she fiddled with the window latch. She put Mugen against her the wall and flung the window open, despite the lashing rain. In fact, it was because of the rain that she was opening the windows.

Immediately the rain blew in, and Kanda's loosely tied hair was blown free. For some reason, Kanda liked getting wet in the rain, even though the cold, biting wind was chilling her to the bones. Within the next minute, her front was completely drenched. Just then, she heard the door creak open. A small silhouette of a white haired, fifteen year old boy stood in the doorway, struggling to fully open the door against the howling wind.

"WHAT THE HELL, KANDA?" Allen let go of the door which slammed close with an alarming bang. "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF?" As he battled the wind across the room, Kanda stared at him, not knowing the strange feeling in her heart.

"Idiot Moyashi, you'll get wet," she said as Allen pushed past her and slammed the window shut. A sudden calm fell upon the long haired girl's room. However, if Allen had heard her, he did not show it. Instead, he went straight to his lecture, water dripping from his hair so much that it distinctly reminded Kanda of a tap.

"What the hell were you thinking? You're soaked, and so is your bed! And your ribbon was blown off your hair," Kanda immediately gathered her hair. "And you actually requested for a mission tomorrow! And you just open your window in the middle of a storm and -" Kanda rolled her eyes.

"If to lecture me is all that you are here for, you better get out," Kanda started walking to the door and made to open it as a rather obvious hint for Allen to get out. Allen pouted slightly.

"Actually I came to apologize. For Lavi," Allen adds as Kanda shot him a quizzical look. "I'm sure he didn't mean to push you –" Once again, Kanda cut across him.

"Shut up, moyashi, I don't want to be reminded of it," And it was true. She did not want to be reminded that Lavi had pushed her from behind somewhere in the science department, causing her to fall right into the bean sprout's arms. The memory made her face grow hot. Allen looked at Kanda's dripping form and shrugged.

"I suppose we'd better change before we catch something," Allen opened the door. Kanda grunted and flung the windows open again.

"KANDA!"

"FINE, you freaking bastard!" And she slammed the windows shut irritably. She swept Mugen into her hands and advanced towards the door where Allen was still standing.

"You get out, now!" Kanda brandished Mugen to emphasize her point. The door immediately snapped shut. That idiot, if that usagi didn't mean to push me, he would have apologized himself. Kanda felt her face grow hot again as she remembered Allen's warm hold. She shook her head. What is wrong with me?

As you can see, this chapter is a bit more literary than my other stories (although the dismal number is two). But still, I hope you liked it! D
