Jack's POV:
"Come on Overland! Hurry up!" Emily exclaimed, throwing a cushion at me. "Em, I'm working. Go play with Jane." I threw the cushion back at my sister, and kept on working.
Emily walked up next to me. "Jackson-" "Hold up. Since when did you call me Jackson? I thought it was Jack." I smirked. She rolled her eyes playfully. "I got it. How about if you come outside so we can play, then I won't call you Jackson." Emily sat on a stool, which was next to my work desk. "Emily. I told you I have to work-"
"You can work later," Emily interrupted, "I have no one to play with. Jane is picking berries with her new friend Esmerelda." Emily shuddered at the sound of the girl she loathes name. I put down my hammer. "Okay fine. Hopefully we don't run into girls. I'm not so clean right now."
Emily giggled. "That's because you've been working all day. Mr. Fisher won't mind." She helped wipe some of the dust off of my pant legs. She was right. I have been working all day. Being a carpenter isn't something that takes a short period of time. I guess I could go out for a little bit and play with my sister. "Let's go out." Emily said taking my hand and leading the way to the door.
Elsa's POV:
"ARGH!" I slammed my fists on my desk, sending my dumb papers everywhere. Anna rushed in my room once she heard the noise. "What was that Elsa?" She asked looking at the papers scattered on the floor. "Being a queen, that's what's wrong."
I became Queen last year. I love Arrendale and its people, but I just get so frustrated sometimes. The work gets harder and harder and the papers are just so confusing. I usually spend my time in the study working on paperwork and taxes and all that junk. I don't know how mother and father handled all this pressure. But I'm going to deal with it. Anna felt my head. She gasped. "Oh dear! Elsa, you've been in here for too long. We should probably get some fresh air." Anna suggested pulling me out of my chair.
"No thank you. I can handle this."
But Anna knew me better than that.
"No, no, no. Els, you have got to get out of the castle. I just went out with Kristoff, and today is a beautiful day."
"You think every day is a beautiful day."
"No I mean it! And I'm not just saying that because I'm optimistic and cheery unlike my boring sister." I punched Anna's shoulder playfully and she laughed. "Ah sis. Come on, listen to me once. I don't want you to die of boredom."
"You can't die from boredom."
"Well sometimes I feel like I can. C'mon!" "No way Anna I have to-"
"Vamanos!" Anna yanked my arm out of the study and the spiral stairs.
