Jonas sat on his bed, holding his head in his hands. Tears streaming down his face and his cries were piercing, that is, if they weren't blocked by the noises of his parents arguing again. The screams were loud but then a glass shattered and it all went quiet. Just like that for a moment. Jonas' head was cleared, and he could see the room again. However, the sound of his mothers' weeps blocked out the light and the room fell dark again. His mother just carried on weeping and then he heard a slap noise.

He heard his mother's body hit against the floor as she carried on weeping and pleading. Jonas tried his best to listen through the tears and could hear the boots reaching closer to the room. The boots reached closer and the door creaked with a sudden thud.

Jonas' fathers face was red with anger and his eyes looked devilish somehow. His veins popped out through his skin and he walked over to Jonas. A slump in the way he walked, and he was almost dragging his feet along with him. His hands were large, and one grabbed the scruff of Jonas' shirt. He hoisted him up to his face and grunted, walking off, and dragging Jonas with him.

As he looked back at the kitchen, he saw his mother crying on the floor and pleading his father not to do this. He could tell he was being dragged further and further away from the house. As soon as he realised, he was slung into the garden shed. He groaned at the feeling and then saw the door shut and the darkness began to overwhelm him.

Jonas screamed in frustration and anger and fear and sadness and he felt so powerful now. He said to himself that he was too weak before, too weak now.

He roared, "I'll kill you," and with that his feelings of power disappeared again, and he was back to that scared boy who could barely say a word to his father. The light from the door had burst the darkness, burst his feelings of rage. His father stood at the door with anger pumping through him. His father began to remove his belt and clutched it in his hands. Cracking the belt and Jonas felt the first hit to his face.

His father shouted in anger, "I'll teach you. I'll teach you," he suddenly stopped. The belt still in his hands. He dropped the belt and turned, beginning to close the door. "You like boys now huh? Well I'll teach you. His trousers fell to the ground and the last of the light faded from Jonas' body. He felt the power again, he felt all that anger and frustration, he felt it all. He stood up and grabbed his fathers head, spinning him to face him now.

Jonas began to speak, in a voice which sounded almost unnatural, "No. I'll teach you father."

With that, Jonas slams the door and his fathers screams could be heard from the whole road. The shed shook and slamming and shattering could be heard from inside. Then we heard a final and loud thud, along with it was silence. The screaming had stopped, and Jonas was stood on top of his father's corpse and the light crept through the hole in the shed and began to cover Jonas' face.

Looking down at his hands, he realised the blood and then he saw the body and he began to scream a cry of desperation. A plead of help, but nobody came. They never did, so they wouldn't now.
