Another hint of NaLu! If you liked Falling, then here is another song themed oneshot. =3
It was like a time bomb set into motion
We knew that we were destined to explode
And if I have to pull you out of the wreckage
You know I'm never gonna let you go

Their mission wasn't over until the largest example of chaos and destruction happened. It was the lifeblood and rhythm of their group, Team Natsu. Lucy ran with all her might through the dust from the latest explosion that her teammates created. If there were ice chips involved, it was Gray. Warm debris and the smell of smoke meant Natsu, of course. Unconscious bodies were a signature of Erza. Fish equaled Happy, enough said.
But Lucy? She was the most likely to scream her head off when she was knocked off her feet when her friends got too carried away.
"Eeeyaaaaah!" The air was leaving her lungs as hard as she could squeeze them to scream. Lucy tumbled backwards towards the edge of the huge pile of rubble, expecting the drop. Surely Happy heard her and was flying her way unless he was knocked out somewhere. Suddenly there was nothing under her feet and Lucy was falling.
It was too soon. Her first novel didn't even get published! She never received her first kiss! She was feeling a sudden tightness in her left shoulder.
Blinking open brown eyes to stare up into twinkling, black orbs covered with rosy stands of sweat soaked hair. Natsu appeared out of nowhere to grab her wrist and save her from high medical fees. Even then, she had to admit he looked very cool looking. A tear formed at the edge of her eye as he pulled her back over the edge, much to Gray's and Erza's relieved smiles.
"Thanks Natsu," She said with an embarrassed blush, rubbing the back of her head as Erza demanded if she was hurt at all.
"If your head starts hurting, you tell me right away. Don't hide anything from me Lucy!" the redhead demanded with wide eyes.
"I-I'm fine Erza, really!" Lucy didn't want to be crushed against her friend's hard breastplate.
Tugging on his pant legs absently, Gray covered his free hand with ice, "I'll ice any bruises you got too."
"I said no sexual harassment from you! I'm just glad the job is finally done."
Grinning at her, the Dragon Slayer tugged her to her feet as Happy swooped down to join them.
"Aye!" the flying cat agreed with the blonde.
"Let's go home, I'm hungry!" Natsu yelled out as he slid downward through the rubble, Gray racing down after him.
"I'll get there first and order my food first!"
"Not if I beat you, squinty eyes!"
Erza sent unequipped her sword and smirked to herself. "I'm in the mood for some cake."
"AYE, FISH!"
Lucy jogged after them, laughing. They never stopped, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Staring after Natsu, she rubbed her wrist where he had held her and blushed.
One of these days, she was going to get the courage to ask him to never let her go. That was one road she didn't want to cross alone, but with him. Her own little flaming bomb of adventure.

This is a random one shot that wasn't meant to go anywhere but a simply flash into their everyday going ons when they take a job. Only….from Lucy's point of view. Review pweese!
