Rick brought Kate and the whole gang to tour in Taiwan. (Ugh. I suck at writing summaries. Better read ahead. Reviews will be highly appreciated.)
While walking back to their hotel, they saw a candy shop and decided to buy sweets for the night.
"Hey, Honey! I think you and writer boy here should take a picture in front of this candy store." Lanie said with a large grin on her face.
"Huh, yeah. You two should totally do." As Esposito reads, "A sweet place for SWEETHEARTS."
Ryan, Jenny, Lanie and Esposito burst into laughter and teased the already red cheeked couple. The wheezing, whoooos and the ayeeees continued and it seems like it would not stop. Rick just smiled to show that he's into the joke but tries very hard not to laugh. His heart was raising and tries so hard not to show it. Kate on the other hand is on the edge of laughing as she loudly said, "We are not yet sweethearts."
Eyebrows were raised from everybody. They were completely shocked. They didn't expect that Kate would say such a statement.
"Hey, did I just heard that right?" Jenny asked with a big smile on her face.
"Oh yes, sweety! I think we did. She said, 'not yet sweethearts'." Lanie answered. As Ryan and Esposito just shook hi fives to show their excitement.
Rick and Kate brushed it off like any other joke they got from them. Eventually, the bullying faded and it was like they forgot it happened.
As they were walking back to the hotel, all of the couples were side by side, Ryan and Jenny, Lanie and Esposito, Rick and Kate.
Rick then whispered to Kate's ear and said, "Not yet, huh?"
Kate smiled to hide her now fast heartbeat. "Ahuh! I think we should give this a try."
