Destined
"Hermione was supposed to be here hours ago Ron. She said that she would help me with my potions essay. If I don't do a good job, Snape is going to kill me," said Harry.
"Why don't you just check the Marauders Map? I'm sure she's still in the castle at least," replied Ron.
The two boys ran up to their dorm room and started riffling through Harry's trunk to find the map.
"Found it!" said Harry. He tapped the map and said, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
They watched while the once blank parchment started to look like the map that they had come to know so well. There was just one problem; Hermione's dot was not showing up.
"Well that's……..strange." said Ron. "She must be in one of the other house's common rooms."
"Have you noticed that she has been acting weird, and randomly disappearing lately? She must be hiding something. Wait! The Room of Requirement! It doesn't show up on the map. I bet that's where she is. Let's get the invisibility cloak and go find her."
"Hermione, do you want one of these cupcakes?"
"That depends, did you make them or did you get them from one of the House Elves in the kitchen? Because if you made them, then I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole." Hermione said with a smile on her face so that he knew that she was joking.
"Hermione Jean Granger! That was just mean. I think you are going to have to be punished now." And with that, Hermione's boyfriend started to tickle her.
Harry and Ron almost at the door to the Room of Requirement when they heard Hermione scream, "No, Draco! Stop!"
They rushed to the room and saw Malfoy holding Hermione down on the coach, and her struggling to get up. They did not even stop to think that she had used his first name, or that she was laughing when she said it. They just ran into the room, and Harry yelled, "Impedimenta!" Draco flew across the room and hit the wall.
"Draco!" Hermione screamed and ran toward him as he struggled to get up. "What the heck where you two thinking?! You could have seriously hurt him."
"What were we thinking?! He was hurting you Hermione, in case you forgot!" Harry yelled.
"Since when is tickling someone considered hurting them Potter?" Draco asked.
"You were…..WHAT?" said both boys surprised.
"Why would you?" said Ron.
"What is going on with you two?" asked Harry.
"Well, you see…….Draco-and-I-are-going-out." said Hermione in a rush.
"Huh?"
"Draco and I are going out. We have been for about two months now." After she finished speaking, Ron and Harry were silent, and then…
"FINALLY! It took you two long enough!" said Harry.
"What are you talking about Potter?" asked Draco.
"I know you both remember Professor Trelawney. Before she left, she made a prophesy that the Slytherin Prince and the Gryffindor Princess, aka you two, would lead the inter-house unity after the war." answered Harry.
"So you're telling me that you both knew all this time, and you didn't even tell me? Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley, you are both in serious trouble!" Hermione yelled while the two boys quickly fled at the sight of her anger.
"I told you we were destined to be together." said Draco, causing both of them to laugh.
