Blood on the Bananas
One Morning when Hetty woke up and Robert brought her, her breakfast on her tray. As he always did. Hetty noticed that there were no bananas on her cereal "Robert" she called "where are my bananas"
Robert came rushing in "What Hetty? Has someone come after you"
"No Robert, she said exasperatedly "There are no bananas in my cereal! And you know I can't stand that"
"Well Hetty were out of Bananas"
"Well then I shall have to get some" She cried heroically and leapt out of bed of bed got dressed, grabbed her furry beret and left.
When she arrived at the grocery, searched high and low to find the bananas but they were no where to be found, so she went to the cashier to ask him, she realized that it was Geoffrey, she asked him "Geoffrey I can't find any Bananas where are they"
Geoffrey replied "we are having a bit of a shortage on bananas, but there is one left, it's over there." gesturing at an a almost empty shelf, well " um, is it ok if I come over for dinner tonight? Me land-lady's not to pleased with me" but Hetty wasn't listening, she was looking at the bananas wondering what the little red spot was . . .
