Author's notes

So this is what they call a future-fic.
Hello everybody, first of all this is my first time writing so I'm open to any constructive criticism is welcome.
And feel free to put any of your ideas on the comments because I'm sort of winging it, even though I plan to make this a series, and don't worry I'll mention who the ideas belong to in some note at the beggining or end.

The maddening buzz of the alarm beside the woman's head, finally waking her up after 5 minutes of constant screeching in her ear. A hand crashed onto the alarm to no effect, eliciting a groan from the mass of pillows and blankets.

"Come on you…" Her muffled complaint came to no one in particular. After a few more tries her hand finally came to a stop, giving up on it's quest to silence the cursed alarm clock.

Suddenly the alarm was silenced, lifting her head up Eri had to focus incredibly hard to adjust to the lighting of the room.

"You should have not gone overboard last night." a voice came from the bedside, Eri tried her best to discern who was her ears savior. Catching a glimpse of purplish hair and lazy eyes.

"Hey...Shinso." She yawned.

Hitoshi Shinso shook his head. "You know...Even though it was fine to have some fun yesterday, that doesn't mean you get to overdo yourself and blackout on top of the table."Shinso rubbed his shoulder like he was soothing a bad ache. "carrying you back home was such a pain..." His comments sounded more like a father scolding his daughter than a retelling of yesterday, as he crossed his arms at the disheveled mass of snow white hair on the bed.

Eri rubbed her eyes. "Yeah yeah, I know, I'm sorry okay. I just needed to get my mind of stuff…" And she wasn't lying.

The previous night was filled with excitement and more booze than anyone could drink, though that didn't stop some individuals. The commemoration of a new school year was always special and Principal Nedzu made sure every member of the UA staff, and a few guest Pro-heroes, had a good time and their fair share on drinks to forget it all in the morning.

Eri herself spent most of the previous night catching up with Izuku Midoriya, ever since starting her career as a UA teacher the times she managed to see her long time friend and mentor have been greatly reduced, though last night did provide plenty of time for them to catch up, Eri soon found her attention being brought to a lonesome figure. A familiar lonesome figure.

"You always did hate crowds, didn't you Kouta" Eri smiled when she managed to spot Kouta Izumi standing far away from everyone else, a bottle of sake and his cup by his side, and his constant moody expression as he watched people go by. "He sure does look like his usual self." Eri smiled. "He does looks good in that suit." The thought of talking to Kouta again after so long, he was one of her closest friends and her trusty partner...Well, former partner.

While Eri had decided to become a teacher at UA, just like her foster parent Shota Aizawa, Kouta went a different path as just a hero and even declining UA's offer for him to become a teacher.

Though it was true that the prospect of being no longer partners with Kouta wasa definite blow to Eri, she always had difficulty in letting someone close to her go away. She couldn't be angry about it, ever since they were kids both Eri and Kouta wanted to be heroes, they both wanted to save people so that no one would suffer the same way they did, even if they way of saving the world were very different Eri wanted to give support to the victims while Kouta when the aggressive route and decided to fight and punish any villain that he found. Despite they rather opposite methods, they were inseparable, two sides of the same coin, partners, best friends.

For some reason Eri felt her heartbeat get little faster than usual when she recalled all of her memories from their time together.

"That's not the first time I see someone with that look on their face." A voice coming from her left made Eri yelp and jump, quickly turning left to find an older woman standing near her, with a sly grin on her face.

"You are in desperate need of guidance, I don't usually do this but...I'll make an exception for you Eri because we're horn buddies...he he."

Mina Kirishima

Pro-hero: Acid Queen

Quirk: Acid

She secretes acid from her skin, this acid varies in viscosity and acidity , Mina can control the flow and potency of her acid and can even shoot it forward like a hose of she concentrates.

However secreting too much acid will harm her skin.

"Miss...Uh...Miss Kirishima, I don- Don't know what you're talking about." Eri stammered. "What face? What guidance?"

"Oh please...If you keep staring any longer, even he might notice." Mina dismissively fanned the air in front of her face.

Eri chaotically flailed her arms in front of her face. "Wha- Staring? I wasn't staring… I was, err….."

Mina just stood there grinning like a jester at the nervous trainwreck in front of her.

Until she had enough. "Alright, alright." Mina snatched Eri's arms from the air and held them. "Look, don't even bother coming up with an excuse for what you just did… Ochaco did the same thing in high school and didn't convince anybody."

"Wha-"

"Zip it." Mina raised a finger. "Now listen, I'm going to keep it short and simple for you."

Eri found herself lacking a response, opting for just listening for what Mina had to say.

"The sooner you say something, the better." Mina grabbed both of Eri's shoulders. "Trust me when I say that guys don't know how to bring the topic into the conversation, they're worse than us at it."

Eri only nodded.

"Good…" Mina released Eri and turned around coming back to her usual party girl personality. "Now I gotta go, Mineta started a drinking game, there's no way I'm missing those idiots blacking out on the table."

As Mina walked away, Eri only stared till the woman disappeared into the crowd. Mulling over the words she just heard, Eri weighted her options. It was true that she used to have a crush on Kouta when they were kids, but she considered that just a teenage crush, nothing more.

Eri shook her head. "Come on you idiot, just talk to him there's nothing wrong in that." She turned towards where Kouta stood, a newfound bravado managing to put another smile on her face.

Only for it to instantly vanish when she was meet with the sight of both Kouta and Izuku apparently saying their goodbyes to principal Nedzu and some other people she could not focus on.

"They're leaving already...I didn't even get a chance to talk to him…"

After some polite hand shakes and farewells, both of them left the party, Leaving Eri blankly staring to the exit. Eri stood there hitting her own forehead and cursing herself for being too slow. "Idiot...You absolute moron...Urgh. How could you let him slip up like that…"

Eri lifted her head up, looking around the party...Perhaps there was something here for her to forget her major screw up.

Until the previous words from one Mina Kirishima popped up in her head again.

"Now I gotta go, Mineta started a drinking game, there's no way I'm missing those idiots blacking out on the table."

Eri looked around, spotting the table said drinking game was currently taking place. There stood, or better yet layed, Denki Kaminari, Hanta Sero, Yosetsu Awase and surprisingly Koji Kouda, all around the table. The only one left that demonstrated any signs of being remotely sober was the current champion of this improv drinking game, Minoru Mineta, with a smug look on his face.

"Ah fuck it, I'm way too pissed to care." Eri made her way to the game.

Eri sat up from her position, immediately feeling the curse of hangover. "Damnit…" Mineta sure as hell could drink a lot.

Well at least it did help her get over the whole Kouta debacle, and into other matters at hand, like how she made back to her apartment and how long was she out of it.

Her hand found its way to her forehead. "What time is it?"

"Around seven in the morning, give or take." A pillow flew onto Shinso's face at that.

"Why the hell did you wake me up so early?" Eri's red eyes twitched at him. "School hasn't started yet and it's my day off from hero work, you jackass."

Shinso chuckled at Eri. "You gotta start to get used to waking up in time for school again, there's only a week before we get busy again, and this year's students are promising…" Shinso started to move towards the door

Eri's eyes widened and a smirk appeared in her lips. "Hitoshi Shinso, did you just call the new students promising?"

Shinso chuckled again. "Yeah, they are promising to give me a headache. Anyway I'm going home, got tired of babysitting you...again." He got out of the room just in time to avoid another pillow getting chucked at him.

Eri smiled, even though he constantly berated her, Shinso was still like and older brother to her thanks to both of their connections to Shota Aizawa. He was right though this year's first years were going to be a special bunch, considering no only their quirks, but also who their parents were.

"Yeah...A promising year indeed."

Osamu Mutuki was considered a lucky beginner in the illegal drug traffic market, managing to score big by avoiding many heroes and the police without losing much in is products, but of course this "luck" was actually just a ton of precautions demanded by him. Those who worked for him knew how paranoid he was about getting caught and just how much of their money he invested in their security and weaponry, Which lead to his current predicament.

Him and his henchmen were at old portside storage in the edges of Tokyo, if the moss forming on the wooden walls were any indicators, this place was abandoned year ago. The only source of light came from a single dangling ceiling light and right beneath said light stood a man strapped to a chair by ropes and with a bag over his head.

"Ya know, this really how I imagined how my morning would start. When I woke up today I was thinking 'just another day at the office', but when my boys called me saying they caught a Pro-hero sneaking around my stuff, I was like 'oooh somebody gonna learn today'." The drug lord clapped his hands at the captive. "And to think I would get the honor of receiving such an idol as my guest." Mutuki motioned one of his henchmen to remove the bag from his ''guest''. "The famous Suneater"

Tamaki lazily opened his eyes, not really processing anything the other just said. "Hello?" He groggily said.

"Well, looks like the drugs we used on you are already taking effect." Mutuki slowly walked to a table filled with a variety of instruments for torture. "Don't worry, we put so much stuff in you you probably won't feel a thing of what I'm about to do to you. But first...You wouldn't happen to have brought anyone else with you?" Mutuki raised a finger. "And don't even bother coming up with a lie, the drugs in your system left you with a loose tongue."

Tamaki's head just kept spinning and his mouth became a warped smile. "Nooope…"

The drug lords laughed at the rather ridiculous way the pro-hero was behaving. "AH man, I still can't believe how easy it has to catch you.

"Pfft… You didn't catch meeee…"

Mutuki turned to his captive. "Excuse me what?"

Tamaki giggled like a schoolgirl"You didn't…" His smile suddenly vanished and his voice grew deeper. "...Catch me."

"And...What exactly are you doing here then?"

"I'm catching you."

Tamaki Amajiki

Pro-hero: Suneater

Quirk: Manifest

Tamaki's quirk allows him to incorporate any characteristic from what he eats, he can even manifest multiple characteristics at the same time from different things he has eaten, the proportion and power of his manifestations depends on how much he's eaten something, the effect of his quirk last until all of the food has been completely digested.

He always keeps a small stash of various dishes in his vest in case of emergencies.

Mutuki laughter was cut short when Tamaki raised his leg and massive tentacles sprouted from each of his toes. Each of the tentacles shot for each different person, bodies were flung around the storage and screams echoed as each and every criminal was constrained and held in the air.

Tamaki morphed his hands into crab pincers, snapping himself free of the rope that held onto the chair. He inspected his work staring at the dangling thugs being held by his 'tentacle-toes', morphing his hands to bundles of tentacles as well he switched his captives from his foot to his hands and slowly lowered a wide eyed Mutuki to eye level. "You wouldn't happen to have a cellphone with you huh?"

The only response was the drug lord's hand shooting up holding a cellphone for the hero to grab.

Tamaki smiled and grabbed the phone, manifesting a small pair of horns on his forehead and headbutting the criminal uncoscious.

He quickly dialed the number of the local police force, asking for them to track this phone and get ready for interrogation. After letting the cellphone down on the ground and let the police track it, Tamaki settled himself against a wall to wait, letting his mind wander when he finally manages to get home and relax for a while.

When his peace was suddenly interrupted by slow clap coming from the entrance of the storage.

Expecting the worst Tamaki quickly turned towards the entrance readying a set of tentacles with pincer at the end of each one. At the entrance stood, for lack of a better word, a giant of a man staring right at Tamaki with a ghostly blue pair of eyes.

The stranger had his long darken gold hair pulled back with some sort of gel, he was wearing a large trench coat over his shoulders that covered most the visibility of his body.

"Who are you?" Tamaki tempted the possibility of stalling and avoiding a fight, he was a capable fighter but the mere presence of this man just set all of his survival instincts into overdrive, and that was scary.

"You're not who I'm looking for…" The man said in a uninterested tone, yet Tamaki was able to pick up how heavily accented his voice was. "Out of my way."

The man slowly raised his fist in the air, Tamaki was sure he hear the sound of a machine moving its gears when that fist was raised, when the stranger focused his sights even more on Tamaki, his eyes changed from the ghostly blue into a glowing red that even left trails of light as they moved.

Thanks to his reflexes Tamaki was able to cover himself inside a massive clam shell as that fist came crashing down to the floor. Inside his shell Tamaki could only hear the sound of wind and splitting wood.

When Tamaki finally thought it save to open his shell, he didn't remember ending up on top of a skyscraper almost 2 Kilometers away from the port and he definitely wasn't ready for the sight of the entirety of the Tokyo portside to be nothing but a pile of rubble inside a trench that started at the storage he was not a few minutes ago.

"This is going to be a problem"
