Disclaimer: I don't own Charmedâand I don't own 13 going on 30 either. Which is such a hugggge downer for me because the film is totally amazing!! After watching it..I realised I could make it a Charmed fic..so I took an hour of thinking/planning time. and came up tops with this. See what u think!!;) Oh..and the ficâ.is MINE so paws off!!
Piper rolled over early one morning and sighed. It was another day, another loongg day that she had yet to get through. As she smacked her alarm clock to shut it up and slowly climbed out of bed, she thought, "It sucks being thirteen, when are things going to change around here and get better?"
She rushed to her wardrobe and pulled out a random outfit to wear to school. "What's the point in dressing up? People will tease me anyway, even my own sister is a joker."
She bolted down the stairs when she heard her superior's yells. "Piper, Phoebe! If you want lifts to school then get your asses down here now. Or else get some comfy shoes on because you're hikin' 3 miles!"
"Alright Prue, I'm coming." Piper said calmly as she ran into the kitchen for her lunch money and a drink. While she was in there she heard Prue mumbling to Phoebe. She could have sworn she heard "Oh my godâis she only any good for doing homework or something?" She felt tears spring to her eyes as she heard her sister's giggling about her.
"Bye Prue." Piper mumbled as she climbed out of the car when they got to the school.
"Uh huh...bye" Prue returned as she drove off to park the car.
Everyday Piper looked around her at all the popular kids. She even lived with two of them, but it never rubbed off on her. She was clever, she knew that, but sometimes she wished she could have been popular.
"Piper!" She heard from behind her. "Piper wait!!" She spun around on her heels quickly and saw her best friend Leo running towards her.
"Jeez!" He stated breathlessly. "What's with the running? I thought we took a vow against exercise!"
Piper giggled. "Cute Leo, very cute." She flicked his chin lightly before walking off. Leo was left behind staring after one of the most important things in his life. Leo was cute, but he was clever and shy, and people in his school couldn't relate to that, so he wasn't all too popular. Him and Piper had formed their own little two-member crew way back in elementary school, and things had been that way since.
He turned around, swung his back over his shoulder and walked off to his first class, looking deflated and upset. Piper had become distant lately. He knew she had a thing about being the only Halliwell sister that wasn't popular, she talked to him about it all the time, but it wasn't like her to act this way. She was daydreaming in class and not working, hardly ever hanging around with Leo, and he'd even noticed that she'd started wearing make-up. He had to admit, it made her eyes look beautiful, but he was worried about herâlike any best friend would be.
He didn't like the new Piper, she was obsessed with popularity and kept talking about 'the future' and 'being older and more popular'. He wanted his best friend back, the Piper he knew and lovedâas a friend of course.
AN: okâ.anyone who has seen 13 going on 30 totally knows what happens with this coupleâso it's not like some major PL mysteryâ.but it is going to be a little more romantic than the Jenna and Matt scenes were!! R&R
