"How many of you are afraid of the dark?" Gathered around a table with a singular candle, Miku holds the flame so everyone can see the creepy expression she was making, obviously on purpose. "I'm not afraid of the dark. Nobody really knows this, but my goggles also double as nightvision goggles." Gumi smirks, somewhat hoping this night would turn out scarier. "I'm not afraid of the dark, no way!" Len cries out, perhaps making his fear a bit too obvious. For a moment, the room is silent. Miku starts whispering something over to Gumi, and keeps holding onto the candle. "Just a second, I forgot to get drinks for everyone. I'll be back in a moment." Gumi stands up, heading towards the door. She carefully slips on her goggles as she was far away enough not to be caught by the only light source in the room. Miku glances over to Len, smiling cruelly. "So, Len-chan, how would you react to this candle being blown out-" "A-ah, I wouldn't mind it at all since I'm so not afraid of the dark..- Hey, what are you doing?!" Miku quickly blew out the candle, descending the room into complete darkness. Len made a highpitched noise, jumping onto the nearest person: who in this case, happened to be Rin. Gumi, instead of going to get drinks, was hovering near the lightbulb switch and softly clicked it on to reveal Len being in a surprised Rin's arms.

Seeing this, Miku and Gumi burst out into laughter. "Way to go, Len, Mr. I'm Not Afraid Of The Dark." Rin threw Len out of her arms and back into his seat, and then glared over at Gumi. "Don't you think you're going to get away with this.. I'll remember. And you too, just because you're popular doesn't mean you'll get away with this.." Miku stands up, now facing Rin. Len regained his composure and stood between the two. "What was the point of that, Miku, I thought we were friends?" Rin glared at Miku, uninterrupted by her brother standing in her way. "Relax, Rin, we were only.. messing around." "I know." Rin replies, her eyes narrowing. "And I'm going to my room. You're all too annoying to hang around today." Standing up quietly, Rin storms out of the room and heads upstairs to her bedroom, leaving a quiet air around the three in the living room. "Well, whatever, she was a spoilsport anyway." Gumi quickly remarks, turning away from the door and heading back into her seat. "Who's up for some scary stories, then?"

"It's not fair." Rin was laid back, on her bed, looking up at the ceiling blankly. "I have to have the clumsy and scaredy-cat twin. Why can't it be different for a change?" As Rin was complaining about Len, there was a thud, located right at the foot of Rin's bed. It was only soft, so nothing heavy could have been suspect. Rin didn't put things on the end of her bed either.. She leant forward, peering over the edge of her bed to find a small patchwork doll, completely blank aside from two dots for eyes and a small three-shaped mouth drawn onto it. She picked it up, her eyes lit up with curiosity. "Hello there.. you haven't been in my room before, have you?" "Not that you would know, hehe!" Rin's eyes widened and she started shaking, almost throwing the doll away with reflexive fear. "Y-you can.. talk?" "Only to you.. yes.. I saw what happened earlier. I can help with that. Especially the green one." "Yeah. Right. I.. Uh, don't usually.. Come across things.. dolls like you. Are you dangerous?" "During my time here, I promise never ever to harm you or Len-chan~! I promise!" "Maybe.. leave him out." Rin murmured, and the doll picked up on what she said. "But~ There's a condition for the help I offer to you. This has to be a deal between us." Rin looked at the doll, trying to calculate a facial expression that was never there to begin with. "So then, Rin Kagamine, do we have a deal?"

"Okay then, yes, we do have a deal."
