So this is a trial fanfic and this is just the prologue.

I'm not sure if I will continue this, if you want me to I will but it will be a while before I update again.

Sadly I don't own Wizards vs Aliens but I wish I did!

A dark skinned teenaged boy melted into the shadows cast by the sinking sun.

It was always harder to hunt in summer, with the long days, short nights and stubborn light cast from their worlds star.

He adjusted his position hoping to remain unseen. This was only a scouting mission, to discover if the seemingly ordinary family were indeed enchanted.

This boy knew he had to return to his father with relevant information, this was his first solo mission and he had to prove he could be trusted.

'If my friends knew about this!' He smirked. His friends. 'Friends'. Hunters weren't supposed to have friends.

They were a weakness.

But to this boy, were they really insignificant?

He didn't think so.

And his father warned that sentimentality would be his downfall.

He shook his head quickly clearing his thoughts. He wouldn't be distracted.

This was another life.

His friends weren't involved.

This was his responsibility.

He cast he watchful gaze back over to the house.

A light skinned teenager with brown hair knocked twice on the door to the downstairs bathroom.

"Chamber of Crowe, open to me, reveal yourself on the knock of three."

There was another knock before the door was opened.

Light from the hallway flooded into the shadowed corridor that didn't resemble a bathroom.

The boy walked into the shadows and closed the door quietly behind him incase anyone was to enter their house.

'If my friends knew about this!' He smirked. His friends. 'Friends'

Would they really be his friends if they knew the truth about him?

The boy hoped in his heart that they would, but would they?

In his head he doubted it.

He shook his head quickly clearing his thoughts.

He had to focus.

There had been threats from hunters.

This was another life.

His friends weren't involved.

This was his responsibility.

He continued to walk forward into the chamber.
