I sit alone on a swing and sigh looking down. I look around and see that there is no one around. I get up from the slide and walk to the red slide. I look out at everything. It's quiet and lonely. I sigh and rest my head on my arms. Why won't my sighs stop? How did I become like this? I've got to stop sighing. I lift my head and shut my eyes.

"Just swap yourself to happiness already!" I shout. How long has it been? Being this way isn't fun at all. I put my head down again and sigh. And without a reason why I still search for the cause of my sighs.

As I walk home a bright light blinds me and I shut my eyes and cover my face with my arms. When the light fades I slowly lower my arms and open my eyes. In front of me there's an angel. He looks familiar. His blonde hair and those azure colored eyes. He was slightly petite and sassy. He smiles down at me and extends a hand. He says,

"Give me your sighs. I want to replace them with happiness." I reach up and grip his hands. I stare into his eyes and stood still in shock. Until a single word spilled from my mouth.

"Please." My eyes widened as the streets and houses disappeared. In an instant we were in a field of yellow flowers. Soft yellow rose petals fell from the sky. I looked around and smiled. He smiled softly at me. He handed me a bouquet of yellow roses, a teddy bear, and red heart shaped balloons. The gifts seemed familiar but the memory was too far away for me to recall it. I looked up at him as he clutched his chest and smiled with his eyes closed. He suddenly spread out his arms and presented a blue song bird. He smiled brightly as the bird landed on his fingers and sat there staring at me. I laughed and so did he.

Every time a smile returns to me he and a memory are linked. I gazed down at the plant and gently brushed my fingertips against the little leafs. I stopped when it finally occurred to me. That time from my childhood long ago. I remember him on the bed laying still, not moving. He had an IV in his arm and had a towel covering his face.

The presents I brought him consisted of a teddy bear some yellow roses and two red heart shaped balloons. The faint beep of his heart on the monitor. It was getting slower and slower. I finally realized he wouldn't wake up he wouldn't wake up. I grabbed onto his hand. It was cold. I held onto it tightly and breathed out trying to warm him up so he wouldn't feel lonely because he was going somewhere alone. I tried desperately to warm him up. Tears streaked down my face. My hair was longer then. I breathed in and out on his hand continuously.

I snapped out of my memory and fell to the ground sobbing uncontrollably. I clutch my hands together and keep them at my chest.

"You remembered huh?" Asked a warm voice behind me. Arms wrapped around me and held me in an embrace. "What you were breathing out were not sighs. They were gentle breaths of wind you were trying to warm me up with." He said softly. I stopped sobbing and listened to him quietly. Tears still falling from my face.

"Sorry for being so late. But I have returned finally returned the favor." He slowly let go of me and rose up. I turned and watched him.

"No more sighing anymore. Come on!" He says happily stretching a hand out to me, gesturing for me to get up.

"Raise your head!" He said smiling down at me slowly disappearing. When I finally came back to my senses he was completely gone. I was no longer in the field of roses but back at the street I was walking from before. The sky was beautiful and clear. I rose to my feet and wiped my eyes. No more sighing anymore. Come on! Raise your head! His words echoed in my head. I grin and finally settle into a real smile.
