All the Ships That Never Sailed
*Foxy and Bonnie as children, not a care in the world, in a modern day AU...on THAT particular day, when they arrive home to find their houses burning...Bonnie dragging Foxy away as they see something purple in the distance...the two of them running and running, finding refuge under the bridge, crying at the loss of their parents, and their brothers, and Mangle...living on the streets for weeks, learning how to survive, when one day, Bonnie, sneaking a fish from a fisherman at the docs, gets caught...and the price for stealing is the loss of a hand...Foxy running towards the square where the chopping was to take place, and sacrificing his own hand in Bonnie's place...Bonnie was inconsolable, for he believes it was his fault, but Foxy grinned, and said that he didn't mind, as long as he didn't have to see his bunny in pain...The two of them soon falling for each other...surviving day to day...and one day meeting two girls, battered and bruised...and they felt determined to take them in, to become a family...eventually finding another bunny...a neighbour whose family had been attacked by the purple man the same way Bonnie and Foxy's were...and taking him in as well...eventually the lot of them leaving the city, and headed to the next city over, finding Bon, who let them stay in her bakery for a day, and joining them for the adventure...Bonnie and Foxy deep in love, the lot of them growing up...and then running into a man with gold hair, who looks down at them without emotion, but his eyes lingered on Plushie, a bit confused...Plushie wondering what that meant...the lot of them seeing a diner, and the golden bear entering...greeting another rabbit with a kiss, and plushie crying out because that was his brother...and so the kids entered, and indeed it was Spring, and gods he was worried Plushie had burned and asked what had happened, and Plushie asked what had happened to Spring, and spring told him how he had arrived to see the houses burning, and had been consumed
with such grief that he can't remember much of what happened, but when he came to, he had blood all over him, and the body of Vincent next to him...he had wandered about, dazed, and met Goldie, a man who worked at the diner, and Goldie took him in, and they had been inseparable ever since...the others were happy, but Foxy and Bonnie still worried of their own brothers...and one day, restless, the two went out and ventured to the harbor, and they find Mangle, barely alive, and they rushed her to the hospital, where many of her limbs had to be replaced...while there, Foxy saw nurses rush a man down the hall on a gurney, and Foxy wasn't sure...but that could have been Hatter...so he follows, bonnie following, and it is indeed Hatter, barely alive himself, and Lapin is there too, fretting over him, and they hear of what had happened...much like Spring, Hatter had gone mad, and blacked out, and Lapin was the one who found him, and together they faced the world, picking up Mangle along the way...but one day Mangle never came back, and Hatter went on the hunt and discovered someone had abused her, and he tore the man apart, but still couldn't find Mangle...once everyone is out of the hospital, they all head for the diner, and the patrons graciously accepted all of them, offering them jobs, and introducing them to instruments to release their emotions in a positive way...*
