Ashley and Henry were arguing over something or another again. Ashley was carrying a sleeping nubbin in her arms; Henry trying to keep his distance to not have a sneeze attack because of his allergies toward the "furry looking demon", as he called them. They were walking to Magnus' office to see whose side she'd choose in said argument. "It's just… Eww, why would you put altogether, in your mouth, pineapple, tomato sauce, cheese and bread?" Henry had a disgusted look on his face.
"Because it's good! And the way you make it sound it's like it's uncooked and just stuffed into your mouth the way it is. When cooked, you forget that it's all of those ingredients." She defended.
Henry shook his head, "Nope, still not putting pineapples into the pizza."
"Oh, c'mon! You'll like it!"
"Nope. Not doing it. Just the thought of it makes me nauseous."
"Henry, anything makes you nauseous!"
He shook his head, "Not everything!"
Ashley just gave him a look and he sighed, "Fine, MOST things… Either way, the only way you're getting pineapples on the pizza is if Magnus wants pineapple pizza."
"Which she will…" Ashley smirked.
Henry just rolled his eyes and knocked on Helen's door. He didn't get an answer, but could hear some Indian music going, on the other side of the wooden door. He raised a brow and looked to Ashley who just shrugged a bit. She leaned closer as well and could hear her mother singing along to the music, "Hmm… I didn't know she actually liked this kind of music." Henry said.
Ashley opened the door only wide enough for her and Henry to peek inside, only to find Helen Magnus, head of the Sanctuary Network, dancing along with the music. Ashley raised a brow, "She's lost it. My mother is a freak."
Henry chuckled and looked down at her, "I guess it's inherited."
He groaned when he felt Ashley swat his chest, her eyebrows furrowed.
AN: I'm supposed to be studying but this small drabble continued to poke at me and I just had to write it. Let me know your thoughts, please? This is my first Sanctuary story, so I am a bit nervous about posting this.
