Yeah… my friend wanted me to write her a Kida/Mikado fanfiction based off a word she would give me. As you can most likely tell, that word was "ice cream". So here you go Kate! Sorry it took me so long to do this, but I hope you enjoy!
"Ah! Finally, school's done! I can't possibly spend another minute in that stuffy classroom!" Masaomi Kida shoved open the doors of Raira Academy, pulling his best friend's hand along behind him. "Now.. since we are done being bored.. LET'S GO HIT ON SOME GIRLS!" Kida cheered.
Mikado frowned. "Actually, Masaomi, I was wondering if we could do something with just the two of us for a change."
"Ahhh, I see." Kida waggled his eyebrows. "You want some alone time, Mi~ka~do~?"
"N-no! I didn't mean it like that!" Mikado blushed. "I just meant, like, we could get some sushi or something."
"How about ice cream? It would be perfect for this hot day, and there's a place just down the block," Kida suggested.
"Well..."
"Come on. It's on me."
Mikado agreed, and the two proceeded to walk to the ice cream shop. After buying the frozen dairy treat, they went to the park and sat down on a nearby bench, watching birds eat bread crumbs off the ground and occasionally licking drips off their ice cream cones.
Mikado glanced at his watch. "Crap. I gotta go. See you tomorrow, Masaomi."
"Bye, Mikado." As Mikado stood up, he noticed Kida staring at him. "Masaomi, why are you staring at me?..."
"Ah, you have some ice cream on your face, Mikado." Kida leaned forward and gently licked a spot on Mikado's cheek, causing his face to redden. "There. All gone now."
Mikado stood frozen to his spot for a moment, then whispered "You have some ice cream on your face too" and pressed his lips to Kida's. After a couple seconds, Mikado pulled away, his face now so red it looked like he had a bad sunburn. "S-s-sorry," he stuttered.
Kida just licked his ice cream as if nothing happened. "You don't have to apologize, Mikado. We were all wondering when you were going to make your move." Kida popped the last bit of ice cream cone into his mouth. "Oh well, I have to go give Anri-san her money now. See you Mikado." And Kida walked away, leaving Mikado with an utterly shocked and confused expression on his face.
