Dean was woken up by a loud clanging noise. He took the gun that was hidden under his pillow and turned around, nearly shooting at the person that was standing in the kitchen.
"I'm sorry Dean. I didn't mean to wake you."
It was Cas. Dean sighed and put the gun back. Some pots lay on the floor and the kitchen was messy. He got out of the bed, still naked from the warm night. He was glad that Sam wasn't here, so he could spend some time with his lover.
Cas seemed to be busy with something, but Dean couldn't see what it was, because Cas had his back turned from him. Nevertheless he checked out the body of the Angel. Cas was just wearing his undies. His back was a play of shadow and light. Deans gaze dropped down to his butt. He walked closer to Cas, put his arms around him and kissed his neck softly. It tasted salty and warm.
Now Dean could see what Cas was doing. The angel was whisking some eggs.
"What are you doing?" Dean asked.
Cas stopped whisking and replied in an impersonal tone "I'm making breakfast. I know that humans need protein after ..." for a moment it seemed that he was thinking which word to use "... exercise."
"That's what you'd call it? It sounds like you didn't have fun." Dean's voice was a bit upset.
"Dean" Cas turned around to look into Dean's eyes. "You know this was the first time for me. And now I understand why humans spend so much time doing it."
Dean knew that this was Cas' way to say that he had fun. Dean smiled and slapped Cas across the backside. "I'm taking a shower."
Castiel nodded and Dean went into the bathroom. He was hoping that the cold water would cool him down. And it did!
When he came out of the bathroom, Cas had set the table and on a plate were some scrambled eggs. It smelled fantastic.
"You're not hungry?" Dean asked, as he took a seat, because there was just one plate.
"I don't need food" said the Angel he sat on the other side of the table and watched Dean with a smile. "Eat!"
Dean took the fork and started to eat. Never before had he eaten eggs like this. They tasted good.
"It's awesome" he said.
"They have a lot of protein. That will make you stronger" replied Cas with a smile on his face.
"What is it exactly?" Dean asked with his mouth full of eggs.
"Python eggs"
